Im terribly sorry for the delay with the update and the lack of news, I know you guys just want some post with deadline or ETA, but everytime im not on times and it make me feel like shit... T_T
But, but the update is DONE!! Took me 2 months more and 160+ renders to redo but it's ready to be packed up and uploaded.
Why it took me so much time? I had real life issue(Covid T_T)... and I also "burned out" after remaking the huge HoneyBee scene twice and sometimes three times, I got creatively overwelmed and depressed... I was working very slowly and after years on Waifu Academy knowing we still have a lot to come and lots to do...
Thought be reassured it was a month ago... I have since "recovered" and been boosted up, thanks to the community and my friends
I decided to fully recruit Redknight has a 3D renderer, he built a setup only for that purpose. He won't only make the Wallpaper bonus reward, but now fully onboard to make entire scenes (still scripted and written by me).
This will help me IMMENSIVELY, because I was litteraly drowning myself with everything.
(I'm also actively looking for another competent 3D renderer creator. for these "remote" scenes we are adding to fill some gap and give more replayability. The opening of the game will be remade too.)
So no worry we are back on track, it was hard, it took times! But this is a new year and a new begining.
With the new recruit i will finally have time to work more on these aspect and also more time for myself has a creator.
About the incoming Update, a last thing since it's not fully tested nor sound/music added yet... (Please answer the poll bellow)

guys if you read between the lines its not finished it still needs music / sound but the end of the year upon him he had to release a statement the guy is full of bs

don’t get how people don’t understand it’s still considered a render..
A render literally means “cause to be or become; make.”
even though it’s a screenshot, the scene still has to be made. Its the same way as DAZ the only difference is, it’s not shit like DAZ where you have to render (aka save) the picture.

. But I'm not omniscient, so I might be wrong about that. But at the end it's completely irrelevant. With Honey Select it's just screenshoting. Don't get me wrong. You can made good games with HS. Here, however, one cannot see that the dev has put a lot of effort into it and that's why I'm a little bit amused when seeing he's using "rendering" to making excuses for repeatedly delaying his own promises. But he also says he had a burn out and that I've to give him. Mental health is important and since I can't verify his statement, I'll just believe him and hope that he has made a full recovery. I'm one of those stupid people who believe in the good in people, so I don't think he lied.Okay, Zuhl, I've made another post in this thread. You can give me the next facepalm for that and continuing simping Irphaeus.

That was most of your post lol besides like one sentence. Also have u tried using HS? It’s an old program and it can take a while to do one scene with lighting posing etc lol
This user thinks Honey Select just reads your mind and sets the scene for you, so the only thing left to do is press one key.
Irphaeus is a liar, a milker and many other things for sure. But HS or not, the game doesn't make itself.

but the stuff about Irphaeus...it's true u.u i mean 1 release a year, and the amount of content can be played in 30 mins(and that's going slow) and its quality is below the average? Yeah sounds like milking

Its a poll asking if he should just release it "now" or wait a "week" for more "polish". I'm assuming that means bug testing and adding the audio.
Poll is overwhelmingly in favor of waiting.

oh when it comes to quality, i always prefer waiting...but in cases like Irphaeus's? Waiting can also mean "more milking in the meantime"

Sure. That's why I'm saying what I'm saying about it.
Well, posing a scene is one thing. But it's the easiest way with HS compared to real graphic designing programs. Honey Select is like a VAZ-2101 and DAZ/Blender/etc. is more of a Bentley Continental.
I've never said this. You all should read what I've written not what you wants to read to have a prejudice confirmed. No one said HS set scenes by itself. But it's pretty easy compared to other programs and if you look on Waifu Academy you can see that Irphaeus didn't put much effort to get more out of it. There are VN's made with HS where you can see in every scene and every frame how much the dev worked. In Waifu Academy the MC fucks with his sessiled school bag over his shoulder.
This guy is trolling his cows. One should give him the Rick Astley-Award in Platinum and a purpure riband. If it's done it's done. He's only trying to get more time. After the poll he will tell his victims his homeplace is burnt down and all his files are lost or a virus destroyed his work.
The story of Waifu Academy is nice and I can laugh about some jokes in it. That's why I'm playing this. But the dev on the other hand... Well, he's not worth to get salty and whine about like some people do.

I know we can be hard on this Dev but it is born out of frustration we know he has a good game but his milking and work ethic are causing this .There are some amazing creators games like Pale Carnations ,Being a Dik plus many more while we wait for the next update (summer 2024) can I recommend
