You saw it by accident. Right. So what you play with your eyes closed, randomly click and hit buttons, open them up and then complain about what's on your screen? There are at least two button checks before that scene, plus you need two shots of the perfume AND there are at least 5 panels which show what's going to happen (calls made, people showing up).

So you knew what was going to happen before it happened but you just want to complain because you are a "vanilla boy" who was scarred by a missing gangbang tag but didn't have a problem with the bestiality, rape and incest tags. I have to admit... I don't think I give a fuck.

Every character, trait, scene, line of dialog, piece of lore and interaction with another character is a variable you have to track. Every new line you write has to support and seamlessly mesh with what you've already done. The OP specifically commented (and it's that comment to which I've been replying) about how project development time should be shorter rather than longer as you "get better". I've been a developer, dba and server admin for 25 years and his comment does not reflect my experience.

Additionally, and I've said this, my comments are not specific to this or any author. I was simply responding to his statement about skill vs long dev times. Peace man.

This is not true.

First of all, you're mixing you're experience as a computer engineer with the creative process of a writer. Because what you're talking about: character traits, scenes, dialogues spoken, lore pieces, interactions... are all elements of the narrative and not of the different programming sides of developing a renpy game.

Nevertheless, those narrative elements could, indeed, be usefully tracked by the game's code. And that's what most game developers do, but not Irphaeus. And that's why I told you, he's not doing it, so it can't be an excuse to say developing is growing more complex. In any case, the great complexity of tracking such things comes down to setting a variable to a boolean value. That's it.

What can be difficult is to know and remember when, how many and in which way use all those variables. But that is a problem of the literary development. And yes, as you practice more and more you learn to handle those things more effectively.

I hope these next updates focus on some other characters a little more. Seeing as it always takes a year anyway. We got characters we don't even have scenes with, but multiple with the same girls. Minami and Asuka (Minami more so) getting annoying to the point it feels like they always interrupt as scene we could've had with someone else.

Well i am new to this game but if the game is more about the story focus character then i doubt that it will change, i mean that if dev wants to focus on specific characters around the MC i doubt that it would change to give screen time to other characters...Minami has a lot of scenes that is true...But i believe without seeing the script story that Minami has so much screen time because of the fact her father has involvement with MC's father story...

Hello everyone!

Spring update is on his way, we are working everyday to bring it to you as fast as possible!
Our new recruit Max already does wonder with 3D rendering, some of you could notice his work in the last render pack reward.
The Spring update overall progress is around 65% , It's one of the biggest update we made, with new places, new characters, new outfits, many new choises, Karma option and the 'conclusion' of Tomoe arc etc...

Recruiting new people to work with me accelerate Update release, increase quality and content, wich is pros for you
However it has a financially cost for me, and unfortunatly we are bleeding the 3$ pledge to "Free members" a lot since Patreon came with that...
The 3$ per month support was essential for us! I will be honest we lost almost half of the incomes, and it hurt us badly... While our motivation remains intact, if the Free members bleeding isn't reversed, it will become very difficult for us to keep up with great content.

So Im making this poll to understand and know what would make Free members to support us.
I need your honest answer (please only Free members should vote.)
I welcome any advice in the comment section.

I would say keep playing, I won't spoil it, but I would not give the dev the benefit of the doubt ever tbh. A greater dev would be finished by now, and that's just a fact. I can't say for sure the thought process, but Minami hasn't helped move the story along for a while. If anyone would, Kayane of all people would. Hell if we dated her we'd probably be finished by now, but you'll see in a decade I guess when this game still probably isn't finished lol.

Well.. I thought about what you said and I'd only really remembered Art Class where she was "under the influence". However (and I forgot about this) in the shower scene after Yoko stole my cloths she is NOT under the influence and is simply a slave to the dilznik. One of the panels was so nice I had to include it for fun. I think I'd enjoy having her on my team

Well Kayane is a mystery character for me, when on one hand i like how she looks and she is funny and smart on the other hand she has dark secret and hidden agentas , she could easily be a good ally to MC but when she goes and becomes the pet of Kenichi i would not want anything to do with her...She even let MC blue balled...Yoko on the other hand is much worse but still she won't progress the story much... MC needs to make Catherine Inori's mom a close ally to gather info from her cuck husband about his father and to figure out who that mystery girl was with Anders and Shirohime...

Again, this really just depends on how the dev decides to write it to be honest. The cop route could just as well be a red herring, but he could write it not to be. The same goes for Kayane. If you ask me, I think they are going to draw out both options, and make this as long as possible. It is what it is, but the release pacing is ridiculous either way.

Well i am new here so i can't comment about " the release pacing is ridiculous either way. " but some of the other porn games i have played in the past well let's just say that I saw another dev complain about his patreon....

Well i am not sure if the graphic quality is similar but if you like Honey Select 2 games i would reccomend you to check out Dropout saga and that new teacher ,especially if you like games that have story and not just sex scenes
