We've finished the English localisation. We decided to move it a little bit forward in the plans. We still need to finish the visuals and pre-alpha. So far everything is on time and the release time is not pushed back. We'll probably move mod support and cheats to the next versions if we run out of time with them.

Breaking news!


Based on internal testing, we've decided that a lot of the game's action goes into finding which character wants to talk to you right now. There's no way you can find out without talking to them. And the number of conversations per time of day is limited. So, now the icon of a character who wants to tell you something will be marked with an exclamation mark.
This solves several problems at once, and makes guides almost unnecessary.

Also, we need your saves for pre-alpha testing. The save must be made after the ball, but before the sandbox warning. It would be ideal if you did not use cheats in this saved game. One save for one character. Please send it into PM.

Right now, everyone on the team is doing internal pre-release testing. We are testing not only new content, but the whole game from start to finish. Dozens of old bugs and visual glitches have already been fixed (we hope that not many new ones have been introduced). Changes have been made to gameplay and balance. We wrote about some of them earlier. Others are less obvious. But, in general, it will be easier for new players to play. Old players, I hope, didn't have a problem with it anyway.
Overall, the size of the final version is average, about 15000 words. The problem was not its size, but its very tight integration with the rest of the game. In any case, due to the extensive finale system, it's unlikely you'll see even half of this content in a single playthrough. More like a third of the content.
Also, we have a small problem. The proofreading for the English localisation is delayed. So, there are chances that we will release the alpha version without proofread text.
In any case, the release date of the alpha version is final and will not be moved - it is the last day of January.

Wands Witches 0.97_Alpha released just now!

Before I write further, I want to thank our active Patrons. You give us strength and motivation to complete this game!
It still does not include all the expected features. Also, the English localization is still not proofread.
How to get finals? Just play five days after the Ball. You can use an old save (not all saves may work, it is best to load a save made on the map). Or you can play again. We recommend this option, especially since we have made a lot of edits and changes to the early events.

What's new:
This version contains the finals, and technically completes the game. It's size approximately 16,000 words in the English version. Finals are very complex, and depend on both your actions and the actions of the NPCs during the game. There are three main plots, depending on how you progressed through the game, and character finales. All animations have been completed too.

What we have to do before the public version:
- Proofread English localization.
- Fix bugs and errors.
- Cheat support.
- Mods support.
- We also want to add some minor art to liven up some of the scenes.

We are still at a loss to indicate the exact timing of the release of the beta and public versions. But we will release them as quickly as we can.

Alpha release is already available for download to our $10+ Patrons!
