It only works if you have a pistol equipped and 5 dexterity(not so sure about the later, but you definitely need the pistol equipped). The option to shoot the man at the beginning of the game seems to be broken now. The text is whited out and unclickable.
Here's a quick tip for when you do causal reading: Do NOT read EVERY word literallyIt does. It really does. Imagine your reading a book and the writing sudnly sterts ta luuk udd. It wuld mack rading it prtty herd wudnt it? Especially if you're reading a sex scene. Now, I'm not saying the writing is *quite* that bad, but all the same, it's hard to stay hard when your trying to work out what the heck someone is even saying. Spelling and grammar are *really* important in a text based game. I mean, I love the *idea* of the game, but I do agree a native english speaker needs to read over the actual story. Even tiny mistakes can add up quickly.
You need to ask the devs what they intend to do with bestiality, atm there's only a scene that a wolf fucks you.Ok it says bestiality and male protagonist so i'll bite: can you have sex with animals without it being the "horse fucks woman" deal 99% of bestiality games are about?
TLDR: Can my character as a MALE protagonist fuck female animals?
In a game where you can rape humans...You need to ask the devs what they intend to do with bestiality, atm there's only a scene that a wolf fucks you.
Tho "fucking female animals" seems a bit too controversial even as a fetish (that's why it's so rare)...
I'm not here to discuss the controversy, and personally I'm totally open to those things in a "fantasy" "fiction" setting. In a game where you can rape humans...
It's not that. It's the way some sentences are structured. Even still, some mistakes are just too bad and distracting(like the "expiration" in the OP pic, for instance). It is a text game. It would've been bad already if it was a fully fledged RPG, but being a game where the text is even more critical to the experience only makes things worse. Here's a quick tip for when you do causal reading: Do NOT read EVERY word literally
All your examples are exaggerating, not standing for the situation of this game's text by any means.
I mean, that's the "writing", not the "grammar and typo".It's not that. It's the way some sentences are structured. Take Incubus City as an example. The text there is very well written and adds a lot to the overall experience. It could work as an erotic game even if it was text only, despite the fact that it has waaaay more pictures(even animated ones) than this one.
I mean, take a look at this:
And compare to this
And tell me it doesn't have a big impact on the overall experience.
Sentence structure is just as much grammar as spelling and punctuation. Sentences and phrases have a natural flow to them in English, more often than not based on how you would speak it. Even if someone who speaks English as a second language can spell and has a decent vocabulary, sentences without the proper syntax and form come off as disjointed and stilted.I mean, that's the "writing", not the "grammar and typo".
No one said "writing is not important in a text-based game". And I didn't deny it could use some proof reading.
It's just funny to see all you guys do is picking on it.
For the "expiration" in the OP pic, I didn't even realise it's not "expression" before you guys point out, cuz I DON'T "read EVERY word literally".
I'll drop this topic at this point, you guys are just arguing for the sake of arguing.
Being surrounded by yes men like yourself who agrees with everything you say and do is always counterproductive to any work. It's only through honest feedback that real progress is made.IcyViridian, I wouldn't worry about what trolls like zedascove say, they're just here to complain about games - you'll notice they never have anything nice to say about any game they post on, they're here to be disruptive and bother developers until they quit.
Depends on if it is a hobby game or a semi professional hobby game effort. The Engrish is easily corrected and because the dev has concentrated on an existing franchise with high standards people will come at this expecting those standards. If he had invented his own world with it's own physics people would generally be more forgiving IMO.Why are you guys so fixed on the grammar and typos? Are you elementary school teacher or really don't have better things to do?
The dev already said English is not their 1st language, and the text in this game so far ain't that bad that sabotages your understanding of what it's trying to convey.
Sure it could use some proof-reading, but I don't see how it affects the quality of this game that worth complaining about.
You are always free to salt yourself or even cook your own meal to meet your standards. It's like complaining that people point out that a dish could use more salt to taste better, but the person complaining thinks the dish is "edible" so it doesn't matter.
What a stupid post. You are always free to salt yourself or even cook your own meal to meet your standards.
The time and letters used for the argument could have rewritten half of the game already.
No offense meant, just a thought.
