It's just too bad that he's not investing more of his time in making this game and is neglecting it, this one can end up being much much better than his other projects i feel like but it's just unfortunate that he doesn't really care much about it

Hope you're not on the discord cuz the dev will probably get his panties in a bunch and remove you too. I mean the dev already said this was a project “for fun” and that they wouldn’t be focusing too hard on it so I don’t know what people are expecting.

Maybe a little something after 16+ weeks of no communication besides passive aggressive bullshit? Especially when there was supposedly something to come in June/July that never did.
Honestly, in this situation neither side is reacting well. On the dev's hand, not only did they go radio silent for a month without releasing the update on time, they also reacted in an incredibly immature way when it came to the complaints (i think most people would have been ok with a "sorry if the updates are slow, this is a passion project and will be left on the back burner for a while while i focus on the main ones for a while") and should have understood that when a patreon game doesn't release an update on time and goes a while without input from the dev, people will understandably assume the worse because that's an unfortunately common thing with patreon games rather than being passive-aggressive about it.
On the other one people have been beating a dead horse for over two months instead of moving on, especially pharaoh above who is salty for getting banned from an unfinished porn game's discord and won't just shut up.

I agree for the most part except the dev has blatantly come,out saying that this is a passion side project and they wouldn’t be giving it much focus it’s the people who are reacting negatively even though the dev has been pretty transparent.

Urban Demons vibe here all the way. I am really not a fan of this kind of chubby drawing, girls are not curvy or alluring, but simply deformed (not in a good way), so I doubt I will find this kind of art very satisfying.
We'll see about the story, but I do not expect much there as well. However, I expect it to be a pretty solid game, so I plan to try it after some builds when it will have some decent amount of content.

Where did you hear it’s abandoned? Again if you read( I know it’s hard) the dev made it clear that this is a “when I feel like it project” now if they choose to abandon it no one should be too mad seeing as there shouldn’t be any real expectations on it. Now if this was a goblins tale situation then all the noise would be justified.
damn, sucks to hear about the developer because I just finished playing this and it definitely caught my attention. just because u say you're doing this for "fun" doesn't mean you can take people's money and do little work
the reason people are being salty is that what they played caught their attention and they were looking forward to more. only to feel cheated and lied to. no matter what that feeling sucks and people are going to get angry for it. some people simply deal with it better then others
Pharaoh is salty? Lol the dev is salty he banned Pharaoh for criticizing the game if he can't take criticism then he is in the wrong career. He can try to ban me from his discord all he wants I'm not in it. Maybe next time get the whole story before shilling for the dev who is a giant man child who throws a fit when somebody criticizes his work.

pharaoh came here to complain that the dev wasnt doing anything with this game even though the dev made it clear that this is a side project(though i will say that a large amount of time has passed so concerns at this point in time are warranted) and he got shit on for it simple as that.
The dev was being an asshole way before Pharaoh's complaints. If he can't handle questions from his player base then he shouldn't have announced the game even more so since it's a pet project.
And if he's tired of telling people maybe put this important info in the description or title instead of yelling at new people to the thread asking questions.
