That, my friend, is the number 1 red flag of self insert MC. MC so indescript, they ,as character, dont have presence in the story.The very same reason why every isekai have black haired "average peolpe" MC nowadays, or "average high schooler" protagonist or why every gacha MC have no existence. No anger, no decision, no will, SI is barely noticable. Because They exist as extension of your will, your in story avatar
Just because SI character have bad rep, doesn't mean you need to deny it
What do you expect? it's unity game. A blackbox spaghetti engine, used by basement indie developer, from japanese.
There's reason why this game only have 5 heroine & no content. The developer obvious spent so much time fighting the engine than developing the game.
I doubt they can fix it even if they can. Even astronaut sirius, azurlane & bazillion gacha game still have obvious lag in the dialogue/VN section.

Tried it, ran the patcher, still have the issue where every time I select "Stronger New Game" I just see the credits roll every time. It even gets better. When I return to the title menu, and select new game, it takes me to the bad end, and I get the credits again. So yeah, I guess it'd help if you fix the problems first.
On the flip side, I was able to figure out a few things about the gameplay prior to this. Sorted out the issues I was having getting the heroines to stay at the inn. Got all of them to be maids on the pure route,

Oh so it's the tool's fault that the game is bad? It's totally unfixable because Unity (among the most popular game engines) is just horrible to the point where making not even a decent game but a game that's not a buggy mess is totally off the table?
They often come from the caves or dungeons early on. I wish I could be more specific but I know enough from the first game.

Also, someone said the harem pure route is that he got stabbed to death? At least just let him live alone until old age or something considering it's pure route then at least he didn't do anything wrong I assume

Yeah, that's pretty much it for the "pure" route. Pure just means you got some almost tapped that renders but didn't. Apparently since you're such a wuss, after all the girls have gone on to live their lives, your badass inn gets robbed in the middle of the night and the super heroines aren't there to protect you so you get knifed by the thieves and die. Best way not to die is to corrupt the girls into being your personal onaholes and then they don't leave and you get to be the man.
Not sure if it fixed old saves or if there was an issue with the "downloaded scenarios" thing, but it's working for me now.
It's a good improvement from the first game but that the map and the music seem completely unchanged is a little odd.
holy sh*t. Why did he even bother with making a pure route, now I actually feel bad for the mc. Sure he's a redditor, but he didn't actually harm anyone (well, at least not sleep drugging), and he gets bad ending. Ye,... japanese devs who are actually specialized in rape should not try to do a moral kind of plot
oh and do u know how to get each heroine pure route, and is it actually better than "getting stabbed"?

That was kind of my point. There isn't really a "pure" route. If you don't drug and rape the heroine's you get a cg or two of naked stretching, bathing, sitting, not even that much, massage. I think I covered them all. But no nookie with any of the girls. Then you act like a dick and turn down any proposals and essentially send the girls away. After that you get stabbed by thieves robbing your inn "because the girls that gave your inn a reputation of capable adventurer defenders" are all gone. Welcome to die and broken new game +.
It's complete shit. I've considered not completing the 10th floor of the final dungeon just to see if that changes things. But every time you complete the 10th floor, you go full dipshit and send a girl away. Maybe by not doing the last floor you can keep all the girls to day 100 and get a good end, but I can't be assed to deal with it again for any reason. So not worth the time and effort tbh.
