You know... I love NTR H-RPGs. They're generally a fun blend of some of my favorite fetishes, but... I am so tired of the "I've got a picture, you do what I say now" trope. It's just such lazy writing.

This same trope also ruins a lot of FemPC games. It is as if the writer couldn't imagine why the player of a porn game would want to either avoid a sex scene or just play along with one without needing some shitty excuse. They seem to think the girl needs an excuse to be slutty here, but at the same time couldn't be bothered to come up with an excuse that makes any sense.

So many set-ups have gotten ruined by the pointless and lazy introduction of blackmail. Examples include the classic scenario of a boss sexually harassing a meek employee that secretly enjoys the attention, only for the whole thing to randomly escalate to telling the so far willing and obedient employee "suck my dick or you're fired." Or having a repairman over and intentionally leaving the bathroom door open to see what he does, only for the scene to devolve to "I took a picture of you in the shower, now you have to be my sex slave or I'll post it on the internet!"

It is like these devs think women are some fey creature. Like a leprechaun that has to tell you where his pot of gold is if you catch him, or a vampire that has to count the individual grains of salt if you spill some. If you take a lewd picture of a woman, they are mystically bound as your sex slave now, that's the rule.

Okay, I have two recommendations for NTR games with fairly good writing. Opinions may vary, of course, but I enjoyed both of these.

is a fully translated H-RPG that blends netorare and netorase. Basically, the law of the village is that if a woman isn't pregnant within a certain time frame after the marriage, the couple are forced to divorce and someone else marries the woman. The village chief decides to give the hero and his wife the "favor" of letting other men knock up the woman instead so their marriage can continue. The man is fully aware of what is going on, but at first truly hates it. The wife is deeply uncomfortable with the situation at first but wants to remain married to the husband. Notably, the relationship between the two is (in my opinion) fairly well written, at least by the standards of porn games. Also notable, some of the bulls the woman gets lent out to actually feel bad for the husband and do their best to make the whole thing as easy on him as possible.

is a partially translated H-RPG that spends a significant amount of time building up the relationship between the hero and the girl, and making you the player fall in love with the girl. It's got a long build up, but that makes the eventual degradation feel all the more personal. The game admittedly runs on tracks for the most part, but the art and writing are both good and the characters feel as real as porn game characters can. I will admit that I was working on translating the game before I got too busy and left it on hiatus, so I'm biased, and I will admit that opinions are mixed.

Like in this game. The Bad Guy gives the Wolfgirl Wife the Cosby treatment, and takes a picture (don't bother asking how he has a camera in a fantasy world, it's magic) of her mid-rape. He then manages to leverage evidence of a crime that he committed into blackmail material, and said Wolfgirl Wife decides that she's entirely helpless in the face of said photograph. Like... seriously? Not only is it a tired trope more commonly used to evade the need for good writing, it's also a damning indictment of both the Wolfgirl's intelligence and her faith in her husband.


"Hey honey, remember that merchant dude? Well, he roofied and raped me, and took pictures. Let's get the police/guards/rangers/whatever." That's the abridged version of how the conversation should go. The fact that she apparently just decided that giving in would be the best way to go about things, and the fact that she thought her husband would decide that a picture of her being assaulted would destroy their relationship, both indicate either deep problems on the character's part, or a profound lack of creativity on the writer's.


I enjoy NTR, but dammit, why is it always the same tired tropes? I appreciate that someone took the time to reduce the typically grating MTL, but I wish the original Dev had actually tried to come up with a creative reason about why the Wolfgirl Wife would be cucked away.

I think it'd make more logical sense for the werewolf wife to go full wolf for 60 seconds and eat the blackmailer. Can't blackmail someone if you're dead.

Anyway, not much a fan of the NTR genre but I agree the trope is swarming with maggots crawling over the corpse of a horse.

Even I have to admit that my MTL translation sucks lol. My first idea of making that shitty translation was that I wanted to let people know the overall situation/ the case which led to the gameplay so some of you don't need to wonder why that cute fox got NTR'ed just by having a dude looking at her from the window. That's why the translation was pretty rough and reading the dialogues wasn't that different from stabbing your own eyes with stupid things you expect to see in MTL translated game. Whatever the case, I see that someone got interested enough to notify those that could move this game to the Completed section. That gives me the motivation to make a proper translation for this, maybe after June, when my entrance exam has finished. However, if anyone has had enough and want to translate it on their own, I believe everyone would appreciate that. Thanks for reading

I really wish there were more ntr games like that. But sadly that requires actual writing to make the journey and emotions of the two people in the relationship believable. Hell I can not even think about more then 1 or 2 games I played that have that.

Hey so idk if u refer to netori or netorare. This is netori but I think the relationship works between the two imo. Also the animation is nice.

First of all, this. Netori is so drastically different we need some kind of verification instead of "cheating"

Second, if the husband is not even in the bloody game and only appears in mentioning... then why the hell make it NTR? Just make it a corruption life cycle akin to many other better RPGM games. I believe NTR in situation such as this only restricts the overall potential of the game. Games like this one tend to be a boring slop to go through and the best way to play them is to download all the CGs later.

Honestly, the husband not being in the story could be another cliche for cheating stories.

Like unless it is a netorase, I think 80% of netori stories mention the wife has a husband => thus she is a wife => turns the story into netori and then you never see the husband again in the story, except when she calls him so you can fuck the wife.

I think almost all the time even if the husband is there for 10% of the story, they don't have any features or art at all. Really sucks ngl

If the ntr is in a VN or a game, it would be really nice if there is a "no ntred" route and not kinetic.

Like it will be kinda rewarding for non-ntr fan if the MC(male) does everything for his wife or MC(Female) does everything to be faithful and resist corruption. Might even be fun if the route is hardcore to achieve.

And it will be rewarding for ntr fans because it was your(MC) choice to cheat/not give attention to your wife and you will reap what you sow and not because the forces of retardation that compels you to whore yourself/get "fucked" for being a good husband.

I also personally recommend Doujin Circle Gyuu's games - Sword Princess Cistina, Treasure Hunter Mai, and Knights of Messiah, as well as the upcoming Magical Girl Ray. Admittedly, the writing in them isn't great, and people will differ in their opinion on the art style, but they do have the "pure route" available, as well as some interesting variants in Cistina in particular.

Also not sure if you played them and these don't have pure routes I think, but they are fun and are heavy in the ntr and netori department. NTRaholic ,fan made of ntr legend and NTR Legend . Plus the animation is 2 bits and 2 bits always look nice. If I got lucky and that you haven't played them, then I hope you have fun.

As long as the writing is done right, im fine with either. But I just cant stand MTL, my brain constantly tries to correct every sentence and that just takes me out of it.
