I assume there will be content for both versions if the devs had that planned from the start and/or if patrons ask for it with the devs being ok with that.
Hello, do I request for you that every time you update to a new version can you give me a dialog file for me to translate your game ?!

The dialog files are included in the game as .rpy files and you can create the translation files with Ren'Py SDK. Devs usually give translators a pack with all the pics that contain some text (like map locations or potion's book), which need to be edited with GIMP or Photoshop to be translated

Yup I agree. It's been 4 months since last release. The developer's Patreon says: "We are plan to release an update every two-to-three months. Each release will have around 30-40 mins of gameplay."
I do think the 30-40 minute game play every 2-4 months is a bit underwhelming though.

they didn't expect this update to take 4 months. And Besides, do you see the level of quality and animations? do you think this can be rushed without significant reductions to all of that? so either they take longer between updates for longer playtime or shorter time for shorter playtime.
It's a team of 2 people, they can't help that.

it's the cycle of every game on the market, difference is we don't see it happening as most of them are behind close doors. It takes most games 3-4 years(even more so for AAA games) till they are complete and that's before any patches done afterwards.
I really don't get that attitude people have on this subject, it's only a problem when the devs keep missing their own deadlines regularly. You can't expect to not encounter any problems while mid development of a game

Also note that it's only their third update (0.1 was initial release, then we had 0.2 and 0.3) of their first game ever. They are still learning how to reach a content per release ratio that is decent for us and feasible for them, and they probably got stuck in this one, which is supposed to include more scenes.

I don't really care if he delays it or not, his stuff has very high quality of course and most of all, he releases it for free. None of us really have any room to complain, as most of us don't pay shit.
I'm just finding it funny how every porn game seems to have a legion of people ready to defend them at all costs.

I mean, in most cases there are just as many who want to criticize at all costs and for no real reason, so it equals out pretty well. Especially once we are talking about high quality 2D games, which will never be fully predictable by the nature of their development process, it's just completely futile to complain about few weeks more or less - especially if one hasn't even played the update, yet.

Completely agreed with this. It's probably a good idea to remove it from the OP, as it gives the wrong impression to potential players. There are games with less content in each update, but get away with it because they're not as transparent about it.
