To be honest, the update was better than a Scamdrop update, but that's a pretty low bar.

This game and only 1 other are the only ones I could not care less how long I have to wait for, even if it's 5 years cause I just know it's gonna be damn good when fully done.
One thing is the main plot, just remember all the different plot points that we've picked up so far, there's a lot of branching of different stories you can come up with, with that as the base for it and how it can all go down at the end.
Add to that the amazing art and fleshed out character personalities(this is key btw).
The art is like none I've seen here, and it has such a wonderful captivating style to it and because it's so new it also looks refreshing, don't get me wrong, 3D models look great too, but this has its own unique charm.
And like I said the characters are so clearly different from each other which gives more life to the world essentially, I've seen too many of these rpg porn games where you don't get as immersed into the world because the feeling might be there but is not as strong that you truly are playing in a different world with different people. Cause usually the only things that different characters from each other is simply their looks, their models that are different while their personalities feel bland or too similar to each other and the only other thing aside from looks that create a difference between them is their motivations according to the plot story, the script that's been given to let you know what their likes and dislikes are, what they are okay with and what they are not that you can judge by the decision they just made, but it's all very superficial to differ them apart...but here instead you get a lot more dialogue or events that lead to you seeing their reactions and personality, it's not just moments in the game to make a choice, you also just get things like situations that are happening as part of the plot or story taking place and you see how the characters react and truly GET what kind of character you've met, idk if I'm explaining this right, but it's the difference between a character's motivations being displayed by choices they make in key plot points in the game vs a character's motivations and personality being displayed even at points in the game where nothing that important is really happening so it fleshes them more out and that brings flavor to the world building and story.
So for this kind of game? oh yeah, I'll wait as if it were a company doing this.

Lemme guess that the release of the next update is in the end of this month which is pretty good tbh.

Realistically, I think they'll be rushing to get as much done as possible until next Friday, come up just a bit short because they still have a fair bit to do, and then they'll need at least a week to polish and test stuff. September 10th ± a few days seems likely.

my prediction. it'll get to 100%, then some tester will find something, then it'll get released but there will be a bug that doesn't show up for most but will still need to be ironed out and then it will be out and fine on......

And look on the bright side, at least this dev isn't ICSTOR, who lies to his fans while he jerks off in his home and refuses to release updates for 2 years.
Same. Game is amazing, we got weekly updates, as I can see based on progress it is like 2-3 weeks for a new version. Not sure how does it work tough and do patrons got it earlier (prolly they do) and how long we have to wait to get it.

Oficially, the game is released for free 1 day after patron's release. But... well, this is pirateland. Last updates were leaked in less than 1 hour
