You wouldn't be on this forum unless you were one of those things.
Tlaero is a game developer. You don't have to be horny, or a dude to write good stories.
Well, it's possible for asexual folks to enjoy porn, and there are games here that have no sexual content at all, so *technically*...
Are you implying there are only two states? Horny or asexual?

If you're writing a sexually related story and it's not making you horny, it's not a good story.
But if you are writing a story - which happens to be in part sexually arousing - having passages which are not arousing is not necessarily a detriment to the story
So in the case of VN games - it depends on the developers preferred weight of story vs pornography
There are games on this site with more pornography and with less
Just got to find the ones that suit you best
For me personally - I think this game is excellently balanced - and hope the developers continue in the same vein

Did Pandora's Box made art for it or just some random dude from Milftoon? Is PBX even still around or his shota work finally got him cancelled?
As far as I know the main artist for miltoon drama was a guy called ''Inusen''. He left their team something around January and after that they stopped posting updates, lol. He tries to create his own games nowadays, but well they are underdone. It is more like a sketch than anything else.

I assure you that I'm neither of those things...

You lady got my utmost respect. Games you created with Mortze are one of the few that I finished playing for the intresting story. I came to see nice drawn titties, I stayed because wanted to see how the story ends.

Nah I feel like past a fairly early stage it becomes similar to drawing from nude models, or even drawing straight up porn. Once you've got past that early stage where it's all kind of novel and exciting you end up noticing the flaws in what you're doing more than anything else. Doesn't really matter the content at that stage, you're always going to focus more on the quality than other stuff.

Even happens with musicians, I've heard of a bunch who can't listen to their own recordings because you just hear perceived flaws or things you could have done better constantly.

It's likely safe but since the update is probably just a couple of days away, I'd wait.

It's simply a matter of hormone release. Thinking about sex and sexually related topics, especially over a long duration - like writing a story (writing for clips of hours at a time), causes the release of hormones that stimulate sexual arousal, which is far more obvious in men because they'll start producing pre-ejaculate while writing, which is both a curse and a blessing. Women will also produce fluid preparing their vagina to accept anticipated penetration. These are completely natural reactions that are unavoidable. Those hormones and the reactions they cause are what sexually arouses you. Therefore, if you're writing a sexually related story that isn't making you horny, it's not good. It's dispassionate. If you're not passionate about what you're writing, it shows, and it certainly isn't the best you can do.

Drawing isn't as involved with step-by-step development of sexual scenes and is mostly a mechanical process, so there's big breaks that interrupt hormone release because you're thinking more about the process than the actual topic. You're not constantly playing out an entire story in your head, visualizing each and every move, emotion, consequences, etc. Writing is much, much more simulating.

Do you think that everybody writes stream-of-consciousness with no pauses to think of the right word or to reread a passage because something in the back of your mind is saying it felt off as it came out?

FFS let them make the game they want, I see no faults with it so far. All you guys/girls who just want porn without story go play a nukige VN or watch porn/hentai whatever floats your boat. This is an erotic adventure game with comedy influences. Story, humor and gameplay comes with the territory.

OK, but being horny while you write an erotic scene doesn't make you a 'horny guy'. Especially if you're a girl, and that's all what she said when you talked about 'a bunch of horny guys'. She's a pro coder and a longtime supporter of Magicnuts, and that's why she helped them with that bug, period.

Man...this game is okayish but the amount of content i have seen so far for an year pause from me is just...pitiful...
Stupidest comment that I've seen in a long while. This game is not okaish in any manner. I'm pretty sure you must've skipped through the dialogues, let alone understood the storyline; simply to watch the scenes.
This game is the best in class for its genre with beautifully appealing artwork, storyline & ui design & sound. The next release for sure is taking longer than expected, but that no way degrades the truth & what I feel about this game.

Of course there are pauses, but when you're re-reading and rewriting you're still in the moment, even more so because what you think you're correcting is making an even better story in your own mind. And yes, you usually you do start off with stream-of-consciousness writing. The story should flow out with minimal pauses. Editing, spell-checking, grammar, punctuation all come later - that's what proofreading is for.
