People vent when they're not happy, it's just human nature. Big long lectures about how they're not entitled to the game if they didn't pay for it etc. aren't gonna change how they feel.

For two years people invested their time (if not their money) into enjoying this game across 5 episodes. Then nothing for 2 years.

It's a common trend for AVN developers to slow down, burn out, cut and run etc. after several releases. So of course people are cynical.

I'm also curious. At least up to March anyone could go to the Patreon page and look at the progress status. But now you have to subscribe to see the status, what's that shit all about...

And it's also visible for free in the 'about' section of their Patreon page (although a bit out of date, as the last tracker uploaded there is from May 19th), you don't need to subscribe to see it. For daily updates, you can also join the Discord server.

Hi moskyx -

I haven't made a serious post in over a year, but your ongoing efforts to be a voice of reason made me want to suggest this to you: save your breath.

It's clear to me that the people that complain the most about this project don't understand what the concept of "patronage" really means, don't understand that patronage isn't transactional and aren't themselves contributing.

The idea that a very small project team can deliver updates like a weekly TV show is absurd, and all anyone has to do is compare these kinds of projects to "triple-A" games or even non-game software such as business software. I'm in the software business and the fact that people that have no financial investment in this little hobby project complain as if they were EA or Ubisoft is borderline delusional. Disney, Epic Games and George R.R. Martin miss targets by years, and yet "MagicNuts" are accused of being some kind of Machiavellian geniuses, ripping off people one dollar at a time. This is preposterous.

Look at my account - I contribute to a number of projects, I get a statement every month and, like almost everyone with a mobile phone, get alerts every time something is deducted from my bank accounts. Everyone can watch every penny coming into and out of their accounts so the idea that I'm being "ripping off a dollar at a time" is a logic fallacy. No, the real problem is:

Thirsty non-patrons are angry that they're not getting their free sex cartoons as quickly as they want them. There are posts in this thread, and other threads, where non-patrons blame people that support "slow" developers for screwing them out of content. "Ur payin dem to not do nuttin" is their cry and...

I. Don't. Care.

My patronage is a way of saying thanks for something that I enjoyed, or are currently enjoying and, unless the developer solicited patronage based on performance claims, I don't give a damn if and when another installment/chapter/whatever comes out.

I do not, and will not, provide support to developers as an incentive to release "more" content "faster" and, if I'm being completely honest, there are comments in some game threads (including this one) that make me want to pay them to NOT develop games.

So save your breath - they're not looking at these projects realistically, they don't give a rat's ass about the developer and there's nothing you or I can do to change that.
Ever wonder how devs get away with working fixing bugs in a renpy game for two months?
Read this post, notice the sinister hidden message this guy left.

Daily reminder devs are not fixing bugs, as I see that some people think they can actually get away with stating false facts day after day.

Not only has the update taken +2 years while the developers are being lazy af, it's also the worst fucking update featuring some green goblin girl instead of a fucking big titty human.

So the next fappable material will (possibly) be in the 0.8 that comes out in 2027. Sweet.

They could release first quest last year and now the second one. This way people wouldt be so mad.
When they first released the progress tracker I could see this update was going to be their longest development to complete yet (honestly didn't think it would be this long though) and suggested it would be better to release it in 2 parts. It's too late to change for this update but in future if the planning stage shows a large amount of tasks. Hopefully they'll consider breaking it into smaller parts and try to release something every 6 to 12 months.
We're 2 and a half month's since the last release and looking at their progress tracker I'd estimate it'll be over a year before 0.7 releases. I really hope they split this release in 2 parts so they can have something to show early next year.
If they don't this thread will become unbearable with all the milking lurkers that show up every 6 to 8 months.

Just wait for an update and stfu. Content should be made slowly.
Yeah I know "slowly". Though, if I wanna say the devs are great and make great stuff, as I always said, and get a ton of shit in replies as a return or if I want to laugh a bit saying, AS YOU SAY, it's SLOW... very slow, I can say it if I want to, it's not a lie. See? Calm down and enjoy the waiting as you want. I don't think I insulted anyone, don't bite, i'm not a cookie. ;)

I'm usualy not into monsters that much (except if against female npc opportunities) but I think she is fine... except that damn lesb common shitty haircut. I think she is hot. Do you ppl, mostly really dislike her that much? May change withe the future story though =) ... WHEN we get it...

More and more devs will want to become scam artists as long as they see other devs receiving thousands of dollars per month for doing absolutely zero work. Honestly, why wouldn't they? You'd be mad to actually do any work if you can just string simps along with a few screenshots and excuses every few months instead.

Nah, I actually like her looks, and I'm pretty sure a lot of people do, otherwise she wouldn't win the poll. It's just as always with the online discourse, haters are really loud and can create the feeling of being a majority when they often are not. I don't even know what these guys are smoking, her design is basically human but with green skin, 2 fangs and pointy ears.

She's actually one of two girls I am somewhat excited for (other one being Simmone), because I have hopes I'll like their personality and sex scenes (so far the girls and porn in the game is rather boring for me personally).

PS: I don't even think these devs are scammers, I just think they're not good at their job. I still remember when the drunk elf update was coming and one day before release they wanted to delay the game to redo some stuff, because "some scenes/dialogue felt off" (doesn't look similar to the current update delay?) and their patreon subscribers/players on this forum (devs still were reading it at the time) had to convince them to just release the update without reworks. So to me it just looks like an unfortunate combo of perfectionist devs who are probably lacking experience to build a productive workflow and don't really have a concrete plan/vision for the game, and now the game is stuck in "development hell". Though a good paycheck is probably not making it better because it might have made them content with how things are going.

Thank you for the reply and feeling about the orc girl.

Thank you also about saying the devs are not that bad but perfectionnists (may be a quality as a default) maybe they are lacking exp as you say, they make good thing but slow as fuck. At least it's not a shit reply as usual by most of ppl here (who are not even banned, but me, with a single funny but not random comment: post deleted before a warning lol...) I hope we will enjoy the orcish girl. =) She has some kind of nice rack & bottom, we can crash without being afraid to have our head broken against hard bones.......
