Yup I agree. It's been 4 months since last release. The developer's Patreon says: "We are plan to release an update every two-to-three months. Each release will have around 30-40 mins of gameplay."The way things are progressing, I think it's fair to assume that v0.4 will probably release somewhen next week. Really excited to finally see how it all continues.
they didn't expect this update to take 4 months. And Besides, do you see the level of quality and animations? do you think this can be rushed without significant reductions to all of that? so either they take longer between updates for longer playtime or shorter time for shorter playtime.Yup I agree. I do think the 30-40 minute game play every 2-4 months is a bit underwhelming though.
Here we go. The cycle of every porn game.they didn't expect this update to take 4 months. It's a team of 2 people, they can't help that.
it's the cycle of every game on the market, difference is we don't see it happening as most of them are behind close doors. It takes most games 3-4 years(even more so for AAA games) till they are complete and that's before any patches done afterwards. Here we go. The cycle of every porn game.
I don't really care if he delays it or not, his stuff has very high quality of course and most of all, he releases it for free. None of us really have any room to complain, as most of us don't pay shit.it's the cycle of every game on the market, difference is we don't see it happening as most of them are behind close doors. I really don't get that attitude people have on this subject, it's only a problem when the devs keep missing their own deadlines regularly. You can't expect to not encounter any problems while mid development of a game
I mean, in most cases there are just as many who want to criticize at all costs and for no real reason, so it equals out pretty well. Especially once we are talking about high quality 2D games, which will never be fully predictable by the nature of their development process, it's just completely futile to complain about few weeks more or less - especially if one hasn't even played the update, yet.I'm just finding it funny how every porn game seems to have a legion of people ready to defend them at all costs.
Completely agreed with this. It's probably a good idea to remove it from the OP, as it gives the wrong impression to potential players. There are games with less content in each update, but get away with it because they're not as transparent about it.Besides, the 30-40 minutes of gameplay is a bit of an understimation, I spend way more time with each new update.
well this one went the route of "popular porn game milking its success" route 3 updates in. is that a record or what?
Bear in mind that we have plenty of editing and debugging to do, not to mention testing the game properly after everything is done. Imagine getting the game after all this time and not being able to play it because of errors; nobody wants that. The way things are progressing, I think it's fair to assume that v0.4 will probably release somewhen next week. I have explained the reasons behind the current +4 month to the patrons (on multiple occasions), the gist of which is that we wrote Myrtle's story with three quests in mind, and the third one required a lot of artworks and posing. We did not plan for it to go beyond three months, but once we had started to work on the story, there was no way to scrap the third quest without messing things up. So we decided to err on the side of going beyond our ideal time-frame but hopefully have a more complete story.Yup I agree. It's been 4 months since last release. Don't worry about it, man. The game's free. Enjoy it when it's out, and take care of yourself.Bruh, I'd support the hell out of this game just to get the release scheds faster and constant. Too bad the pandemic sucks all the bucks we have
He will change (slightly) as the result of the Main Story. But there are side quests too, and given that people might play them in any order, we cannot change him drastically, or things might stop making sense.Well i dont want spam but i wanted to ask if mc will be still dumb in game progresion or not...
It looks like good game but plaing with him is painfull
ok than i will see how slightlyBear in mind that we have plenty of editing and debugging to do, not to mention testing the game properly after everything is done. Imagine getting the game after all this time and not being able to play it because of errors; nobody wants that.

On the plus side, this release will be slightly more than 30-40 mins.
Also, people have to realize that we WANT to update the game more frequently, yes more than you want to play it. But this is as fast as we can develop the game while still taking one day a week off. If we want to do it faster, the quality might suffer. Design decisions are probably the only thing we can change to speed things up; for example: I think we could have designed the story in a way that required two quests only or made one of them shorter. We might do something like that for the next update.
PS. thanks for quoting me from our Patreon page, I noticed a grammatical mistake.

Why and how are we 'milking its success'?

I completely understand. Take as much time as you need to polish things. I don't mind waiting if the end product is of high quality so no pressure.Bear in mind that we have plenty of editing and debugging to do, not to mention testing the game properly after everything is done.
