I didn't get my point across well, sorry. I don't mean to suggest that the game completely changes to suit my wishes. However when I compare this game to Sensual Realms or the new build of Goddess Realm I realize that those games have less writing, but through small "rpgey" choices in the dialogue it keeps me interested through out and I don't really skip. And I feel a little called out by the mention of point and click adventures. The thing is Games like Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis made you feel like you figured something out, that you put the pieces together. Small Puzzles would also be fun. But my experience with the game stands. I think it would be better if there would be more reason to engage with it and I say this because I really think parts of the game are very much better than so many other games, so it's criticism stemming from adoration.

Have you played Long Live The Princess? If you haven't, I think it would appeal greatly to you.

As for this game, if it ain't broke, don't break it! By making the changes you suggest, more people might enjoy it, but some people might also stop playing.

I think they are on the right track here, and what you would like added is NOT a minor tweak.

Ever play Toonstruck? As a kid thinking "hey its the guy from back to the future" I wasn't expecting the game to be quite so odd and adult in themes. The scarecrow is probably a hate crime these days.

Mate, you're in the wrong forum. Very few erotic games have RPG elements, because that's not the focus here. If you have found some that cater to that interest of yours - then great. But please don't 'criticize' a game for having a completely unrelated concept. You're trying to do what a lot of people attempt, by pushing for games to conform to their fetishes or expectations instead of finding ones that already do.

On a logical level your suggestion also fails, because any combat system in this engine would still be just clicking on hotspots. This isn't RPG maker, and I personally think games in that engine are horrible. Plus other than padding out the playing time, those features would add nothing to the game. Like a wise man once said "That's just slavery with extra steps".

No, but read about it in a magazine (and a demo was on the companion CD), but couldn't get it to work on my first PC so never got it later.

Spent a few hours playing the game through on the current public release. Gotta say the game feels similar to Treasures of Nadia, in that the Art is pretty amazing, but the game is suffering severely from the "artists trying to be game designers" syndrome. I love the setting, generic fantasy and smut, goes together really well.

But I wish there would be a more compelling game.

I would also like to use this post for a PSA: Whenever the music in a porn game is lacking or missing, just mute the game and put on some romantic fantasy playlist on youtube. Generally better than the in-game music ^^

As moskyx said, the current anal scene is somewhat optional (the story is finished but I believe you won't unlock the cutscenes if you don't play it). For future content, I can't really promise you that it will be optional too as it would depend on the character and the story.

You've just made me realize something about the NLT games, they are rpgm but without the crappy combat that infests so many games made with that, which is probably why they are the best games in that engine.

Wow, what a discovery!!

In a sea of Daz3D clones that all look like each other, this game is a true gem! Gorgeous hand-drawn graphics, and animated as well (which was a shock to me, the quality if amazing!), would be more than enough already, but the game has an incredible charm as well: all locations are beautiful, gameplay is smooth, sound effects spot on (maybe too little music?), and very funny too. Literally devoured it, and now I can't wait for the next update...

Dude, not only you are essentially asking them to make a completely different game, but one that is FAR more ambitious and complex than the one they are current making. I don't think a couple with no previous experience in game development can handle a project that would involve combat balance, character stats, leveling system, customization, loot distribution, dialogue choice and all the other elements a full-blown RPG demands, even if its a simple one. What a Legend is a virtual novel plain and simple and theres nothing wrong with that.
Regardless, I recommend that you check out Price for Freedom: Avarice if you haven't already, it has all the elements that you are asking for: RPG progression, turn-based combat, dialogue choice. Plus the art style is almost on par with WAL. That game will probably be more up you alley.
