Hi everybody.
We finished the second sex scene last weekend and started our week with the plan of working on the third chunk of content, doing its sex animation, editing its dialogues, and completing its cutscenes.
Chestnut designed the base artwork for the skeletal animation, and once I had the art, I stopped the polish job I was working on and animated it. We didn't expect the third sex scene to be done so quickly (we usually need several corrections of the base artworks), and, seeing that, we decided to do a second sex scene this week as well. As a result, we're almost done with the fourth sex scene -- I'm working on it right now, and Chestnut will do any corrections needed during the weekend.
Aside from that, Chestnut worked on a complex cutscene and drew and recorded one of the citizens of the Old Capital (

) for something we want to experiment with. I edited more dialogues, and as is always the case, improved and polished some of the sprites' poses, particularly Lana's. The last time I posed these scenes, we didn't have some of her hands and gestures.
Overall, we're happy with this week's progress, and it's great to see the sex scenes being done -- they require a lot of work and usually cannot be done before we have other elements ready, and doing them means we're one step closer to the release.

Next week's plan:
We're missing two more sex animations, and they will be the focus of our work for the coming week. Chestnut will design and draw them, and I will animate them, code them, add them to the crystal ball, and write/edit their dialogues. Our objective is to have all of the sex scenes in the game by the next report. Once that's done, the remaining job would be a simple matter of finishing the cutscenes (plus two backgrounds) and adding them to the game, as I'm testing, editing, and debugging.

I finished all the content so far and I give a good thumbs up to art quality, which is fantastic. I said earlier I found the dialogues a bit too goofy and would have liked the MC to have a good head on his shoulders, but hey there could be room for character growth this way and it's not that awful. Might be nice if there could be a few extra meaningful choices thrown in even if it's a VN, but that's really up to the designers.

The game is still a bit short unfortunately but that's 100% expected with these kinds of development models. Take your time, do it right, and I will definitely play future updates. Good work.

I’m finally got back into this game after playing the release version allll the way back in May 2020. I checked my old ass review for the game on the first page and saw that I predicted it would be one of the best games on the site. Look where this masterpiece is now! Number one game on the site when sorting by weighted rating! magicnuts went crazy on this game. I just wanted to share some of my thoughts after finally playing this game after waiting a year and some for more content.

Holy 2d art, this game has some of the best art on this site and some great animations. Every single one of the girls look beautiful and have unique personalities. In terms of gameplay, I do think the fetch quests get a little tedious and stretched out at times, but the clean UI and fast menu makes everything tolerable. I do think that having the hint crystal outside of the bag right next to the map and bag icon would make things a lot easier and quicker. Other than that 0 complaints and can’t wait to see how this game progresses.

Also, Reallly hope the brothel from the mc’s backstory makes its way into the game somehow. Like at the end of the game he finally returns and shows all the neat “stuff” he learned on his journey to the whore mommys lmao. Idk why I the concept of a boy growing up in a brothel peaked my interest and I really wanna see this concept sought through in a way.

In discord chat, devs confirmed that we will have brothel orgy in future. Although that might be in a very long time seeing as the speed of updates is not fast.

I think a mid month release is likely if everything goes according to plan going off the progress tracker

Dude I still rather wait some more week or even months than to get a game with full of bugs, suck animations and so on. If you know the Warcraft 3 Refunded then you will understand. Also there are many other games you can play until the update comes out.

6,500 per month barely means anything if there are 3 or more people developing this game so in consequence, the devs doesn't consider this a primary job so that's understandable and since this update takes this long we can assume the update will be bigger than the previous updates or possibly something happens that slows down the progress.

I didn't say it isn't hard at all. Actually I said I completely understand that such games like this takes time. But waiting 6 months for an update that's still not completed isn't a good sign is it. Also if you've played the game you'll know that the game is still in the beginning stages so waiting 6-9 months for a update and how much the story needs to unravel.. well good luck on that wait lol

You're just assuming about the update being larger. I hope you're right but the dev hasn't stated that. And €6,500 is still a lot of money for saying it's their first game and again you're assuming it's 3 or more people developing this game.

Everything is explained to their patrons (and we all can read it too when people post here the weekly development notes) who are the only truly concerned people. This is an update that needs several new backgrounds and new characters, so it's taking more time than they initially estimated. They are 2 people (but only 1 artist) working on this game full time 7 days a week, so no matter how much money they are earning, speed is not going to increase magically. It's just how it is. If you don't believe it or you're not happy with that then don't support them but please try to be a little more patient and understanding with artistic works, especially 2D, handcrafted ones.

After all, the game is always released for free and moreover we're in a pirate forum, so I find it kind of rude coming here to say you think they are earning too much for what they are producing, or that the new update surely won't worth a 6 months wait without knowing yet how it looks, or even imply they are kind of slowering development to 'milk' their patrons. Nothing you say in that sense it's going to change anything, it can only bring hate and stress to the dev team, and I can tell they don't like this situation either, as any informed person should know that delivering updates after longer waits is usually counterproductive from a financial point of view.
