Hi everybody.
We finished the second sex scene last weekend and started our week with the plan of working on the third chunk of content, doing its sex animation, editing its dialogues, and completing its cutscenes.
Chestnut designed the base artwork for the skeletal animation, and once I had the art, I stopped the polish job I was working on and animated it. We didn't expect the third sex scene to be done so quickly (we usually need several corrections of the base artworks), and, seeing that, we decided to do a second sex scene this week as well. As a result, we're almost done with the fourth sex scene -- I'm working on it right now, and Chestnut will do any corrections needed during the weekend.
Aside from that, Chestnut worked on a complex cutscene and drew and recorded one of the citizens of the Old Capital (

) for something we want to experiment with. I edited more dialogues, and as is always the case, improved and polished some of the sprites' poses, particularly Lana's. The last time I posed these scenes, we didn't have some of her hands and gestures.
Overall, we're happy with this week's progress, and it's great to see the sex scenes being done -- they require a lot of work and usually cannot be done before we have other elements ready, and doing them means we're one step closer to the release.
Next week's plan:
We're missing two more sex animations, and they will be the focus of our work for the coming week. Chestnut will design and draw them, and I will animate them, code them, add them to the crystal ball, and write/edit their dialogues. Our objective is to have all of the sex scenes in the game by the next report. Once that's done, the remaining job would be a simple matter of finishing the cutscenes (plus two backgrounds) and adding them to the game, as I'm testing, editing, and debugging.
Anyway, that's the plan.
