i see because on magic nuts site it is still near the end. i think the rules should be changed, until the author confirms it is officially abandonned.

I disagree. To me, the Abandoned-tag is telling me that it might not be a good idea to start playing a new game, since there is a high likelihood that it won't eve be finished. I don't care what the dev says, I'm only interested in knowing whether there will be any updates or not.

There are way too many projects out there where update are promised to be just around the corner, then the dev breaks a leg, has to go on a sail boat for months, finds new, strange bugs, or whatever else they might come up with. Always look at what is delivered, not what is promised.

Since the release is slowly inching near, and as soon as the game is posted here a deluge of comments will inevitably follow, I've tried engaging in a thought experiment, named "it's easy being Cassandra". Here are some templates for the posts, feel free to reword them or paste them into ChatGPT to reduce redundancy:

Feel free to bring it up with the mods of the site, but honestly if you haven't updated a developing game within a certain window there tends to be some concern on whether or not work is being done. i.e. abandoned

Here's mine. I'm not sure if it will work on your end due to this Ren'Py feature that tries to protect users from malicious code, but you can try it anyway. Just download it to your saves folder and look for it on page 3 in the load menu.

The fact that they managed to get a steam page up before their vastly delayed episode shows where their priorities lie. That steam release prep should have waited imho.

Steam release? Oh, fantastic. These diligent overachievers will probably need a solid year just to polish the game they already have. Next chapter? It's probably going to be wife of the fat dude with release date in 2027. And as for the main story? Mark your calendars, folks—late 2029 sounds about right. Quality takes time, you know!
