where to find save files in appdata?
You can open the options.rpy file in the /game directory and look for the "config.savedirectory" value to find what the name of the folder holding the save files inside AppData/Roaming/RenPy would be. For most games it's pretty easy to tell which one it is since they're normally named similarly to the game itself, but it looks like here the dev used "Inventory02-1551646067", possibly by mistake since it looks like they've got a comment right after that which would have it named "WaL".

I do not come to say anything new about this game, I think that at the level of artwork is the best game made to date by here or at least there are not many games that surpass it. In story and mechanics also shows that the game is made with love and ambition.

Starting this game fresh since it's been a while, and I forgot just how fun and charming it is to play. Hope Holly's update (best girl) comes faster than Gomira's, but quality on this thing is great.

Just finished the update.

Solid artwork, gameplay, everything was great. Problem is that it was about the same length as Rose's update but took 2.5 years. This is unsustainable. They need to either lock in or wrap up the game with the next update.

It sucks because the game is so good, it deserves better and more hardworking developers.
by the gods its been 2.5 years?

By the way, since there are other characters that not all of them can be covered by scenes, mentioning them and giving news about them in the update will also help to further their lives and improve immersion imo.

I do software development, it's always like that. You just make something and test it they way you expect it to work, and then an idiot comes by does something you never think off, and boom... bug... And mostly with in the first 10 min that someone else does it.

That's also why you don't find bugs yourself, but have someone else doing that for you. I'm not talking about fixing, I'm talking about finding....

So yes, how good you are, he is only 1 man coding. So the moment thousands of people are playing, they will find something..

Of course this update wasn't much to do, except follow the story...
Yeah, I only really dabbled in code but it is way true from everything I can tell. A lot of people complaining about the update taking a while or not being bugfree don't know anything about development, as is the norm.

I do software developement as well, and what you just said is absolutely accurate, that's why they say you can't debug your own code. But even with other people debugging it, it never survives deployment unless you got a whole QA department, which obviously a team of two can't have. So it's basically inevitable.
Well, that doesn't really cover what's been happening here. First of all, this isn't developing some new piece of software from scratch. It's effectively a glamorized comic book made in RenPy with a couple of somewhat trivial extras added. The bugs that they constantly spent time fixing aren't something that would be accepted as regular bugs, or at least their fixes aren't meaningful bug fixes.

What this amateur has been spending time fixing would be the equivalent of having a document where the software can't handle line breaks. He changes one word early in the document, and then he has to manually go through all the text and fix the now incorrect line breaks. The bugfix would be to fix the line breaker or perhaps remove the functionality alltogether. Instead he's patching details that are caused by bad design- and architecture choices.

As for having a QA department, for a RenPy game as simple a this, I'd say that would be overkill. You just need to be a bit structured, identify where the game can branch and thus have things happen in 'wrong' order and then walking all those paths, checking that nothing breaks. It is as trivial as software testing can possibly get.
