Prostitution, I have no interest or desire for prostitutes irl, don't make them a main character/love interest in the games please. If you do, make them optional. That said, I don't mind the occasional scene or event.

Over-perverted protagonists are annoying. You know the ones, young, virgin, see's milf in shower and drools over themselves? Most guys I know, even those around that age and even younger don't react like that. Sure, we may stare but theyr'e not gonna be like "OmG BoObS! ThIs Is ThE BeSt DaY of My LiFe!", even less points when its a middle aged man doing it. I can put up with it depending on my mood, but oftentimes its just too much.

Lastly is when a main character is treated like a moron. Like I get it, it's hard to write an intelligent protagonist in a porn game. That's understandable, especially because it's the easiest way to introduce the player into the world. That said, there's no reason to have characters berate and talk down to the protagonist at all times. Double that when the game is POV. A few jokes are fine, and occasionally funny, hell even the occasionally Tsundere like character is fine. But don't make the protags one thing be that he's stupid and everyone knows it. I hate this in all media, not just porn games. That said, I can deal with it to an extent depending on my mood.

You probably already know this from most JP games but some devs are so obsessed with rape it breaks the entire game, the MC as always is nothing but a blank sheet of papper, she has no kinks, she doesn't know about sex, she has no idea about "feeling good", she is as naive, dumb and pure as one can be because that's the girl that always get raped over and over.

Never allowed to have vanilla sex, engage in sexual activities with her companions/friends/people she like, just a mindless saint roaming around seeking the next pervert who's gonna rape her.

Which leads to the best of clichés out there.

-Prodigy genius girl, on her way to discover the forbidden spell/craft the legendary elixir/save the world, is outsmarted by a drunk old guy, now is being gangraped in a tavern.
-Heroine of legendary strenght, known for trampling dragons and demons alike, gonna wipe the floor with the demon king, gets overpowered by the ugly bastard because she was walking alone at night.

There are alot of rape/corruption games out there but sometimes they don't even try...

They are alone aside from another girl, one of his lover I think? It seemed like they were moving towards a threesome when the protag gets tied to the chair.

The two girls then fuck in front of him. He's unable to touch them, touch himself, and I don't even think the scene ended in a happy ending. The game isn't tagged as NTR, likely because it was two women instead of a dude being involved.

If that is not the definition of NTR, I don't know what is. The definition has been changed so much here due to NTR haters and NTR hater haters.

Unbelieveable! You'd think they'd tag them correctly! Have you found any other examples of this? Perhaps they need reporting for the proper tags. If you let me know of any you find I'll make sure if they have this sort of ghastly material. It's a harsh job but somebody's got to do it.

By that I mean, the game has it so YOU feel like YOU are the cucked one. Some games do that and do that well. Seeds of Chaos being the perfect example of what I mean. The game does a good job of this concept.

You have an interesting point there. I have two or three scenes where sex is unavoidable on my game, and in some there are kinks beyond vanilla sex (like BDSM). My solution was, give the player the choice to show/hide the vids/pics of these kinks (they are hidden by default), leaving only the text (because if I skipped the text, the encounter would not make sense at all)

But on a standard VN I don't know how that would work, it's hard.

Haha. This is bad especially on games that require management.
Games with voices can be listened to correct most mistakes.

MTL had come a loooooooong way. There had been a LOT of improvements. I still remember the pain of setting up good old AGTH before anything can be done.

Now? We have google translate app... just hover the camera and instant MTL. Google also improves the app on regular basis which produces better translations with every update roll...

Personally I don't play any game that has a tag of the disgusting category, for example: scat, gore, vomit, horror and stuff like that.

If I see the image and I get all kind of feelings except arousal then for sure I don't want to play anything that is near that, this is my line.

But that's about it, if I find any of those tags I don't need help to find the exit, it doesn't matter if it's avoidable, optional or even one scene, I don't want any risk here.

I came upon a few comments here and there with the gist of "If I found X kink in this game or saw it in a screenshot, it's an instant uninstall. Even if it's avoidable". And that's perfectly fine, but it got me thinking. What is your "instant uninstall" line in adult games in terms of included kinks/themes? And does it matter if said kink was avoidable/toggleable in the game or not?

For myself, there aren't many, because I already won't bother to download an adult game if the main theme and kinks are not my preference, so this tends to weed out false positives. But even so, things slip through the cracks. So, an "instant uninstall"? Well, a pet peeve of mine is having a narrative focused game force the MC into an active role in non consensual sex scenes. That completely changes the characterization of the MC and the story, if it's unavoidable. I can only tolerate it if it's avoidable, or something you can toggle off before playing.

Lots of things if it is the strict focus of the game NTR, Incest, Scat. but no specific thing will make me give up on a game by itself what do i care if my dream Yandere dating sim has 1 scat scene or a avoidable NTR scene, i just ignore it and continue my Yandere dating.
