I would say that main characters that only succeed because they are the main character.
Aka plot armor being to obvious.

Mostly I only have 3 instant uninstalls, if the MC is forced to have sex with a character like the story just goes on and the characters start having sex without an option appearing allowing the MC to say no thanks. Also in the same vein if you make a choice but later the other characters act like you made the different choice, for example you opt NOT to peep on someone in the shower but later that character says they caught you peeping on them. Lazy writing like this instantly causes me to uninstall. And finally Incest/Landlady-Roommate stories. "I can't sleep with you, you're my ROOMMATE!" So stupid.

Most sites where these devs can make a profit just flat won't host a game with incest, thus what you are talking about. It's why incest patches exist. Many times these patches are made by the devs themselves.
No I understand the reason for it but it's still an instant uninstall for me, the only reason I try the game in the first place is sometimes the incest is between other characters and not the MC and family. Like if their are two sisters that are possible LI or like in Fetish Locator where it's siblings that are going at. If it's avoidable and doesn't drastically alter the story I can live with it but if not the game goes away.
Also there is a far better way to do this, simply have the dynamic be either a family friend or foster home take in the MC. That way you can still have an incest patch for people that want that but you can also leave it and write the story around that dynamic of a step family or family friend. There can be the same tension and feeling of it being wrong without the dumb ass dialogue of a landlady not wanting to hook up with a tenant or roommates feeling weird about liking each other. If you are hosting a game on a site that doesn't allow incest, get creative in solving the issue and not just use these ridiculous placeholders so you can just patch it.

Sure, and a few games I know of went the step-whatever route instead. The issue with that route is that it makes the incest patch exponentially harder to implement. With Landlady you just have to replace the word Landlady with Mom or Aunt or whatever. With the step route it changes the grammar of sentences entirely unless the Dev paid extra attention to his structure, which is just another level of difficulty on top of the standard effort of writing a good script.

IMO the question is intriguing, yet a little raw/flawed. Let's clarify. A player would most likely install a game with kinks they're into. They'd first look at the tags, then read the reviews, then give it a try. From there, they might uninstall if the game forces sexual scenarios they're not into; a mistake made by many, many, many porn game devs.
A player should never be exposed to a kink they're not into. Easiest way to ensure that is to always give the player a way out of every sexual scenario; and the more immersive, the better (I can expand on this if anyone is curious).
(As always, I'm looking for what's right, I don't give a fuck about being right, so if you can prove me wrong, I would appreciate it, then I would see your logic, then begin spreading your logic instead of mine. My ideas are not really my own, but an amalgam of stuff I've learned from talking to people on this forum. I apologize if my post makes me look entitled? I just want to learn solutions to problems, that's it.)

I think I've hit a string of games that has added another "uninstall" trigger to my list. There seems to be a glut of games lately focused on forgiveness. Which I don't really have an issue with IF I'm given the option to NOT forgive whatever. Not everyone's tolerance for bullshittery is the same and quite a few devs don't seem to realize that. Having LIs pull crap that I, and quite a few other people I'm guessing, would never forgive. My issue comes in when there is no option to call it off with that LI, instead forcing me to either tolerate the story going forward with someone I dislike or uninstall. And seeing as there are thousands of other options, the choice is obvious.

IMO, a reflection of the youth of those believed to be "where the market is."
