I would love a game that is a mix of Rai 7 and Leane.
Leane and Rai 7 have already quite a few things in common, but the latter just lacks the freedom that rai 7 offers.
Conversely Rai 7 could use a lot more of the cat and mouse elements that Leane brings to the table.
Or a Game like Leane but playing as a female, having to try to stay out of the Harem yourself on top of everything else
would be quite the nice touch imo.

I really would love a sandbox strategy game like Rai7 but was disappointed by the limited player agency.
Especially if it could be combined with the Officer System from Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Maybe if my first project will ever be finished I might tackle something more complex like that.

Hmm personally things I would like to see:

-Being able to blackmail or be blackmailed.
-Girl x girl, futa x girl, futa x futa, you can sometimes see lesbian scenes but it's fairly hard to see in most games, even less futa x girl or futa x futa, that's the ultimate rare thing you can find.
-Strategy game with capture system for both female generals and enemy ones. Never understood why only the enemies can be the rapists that make the generals submit.

I'm overall really into situations in which I may end up having to submit or make others submit, but I hate it when it's optional, I prefer a lot more gameplay based compared to when you choose for things to happen. Most of the games I would like to see would need to have the 2 opposites.

-Blackmailing others vs being blackmailed
-Femdom vs Maledom
-Rape vs being raped
-Netorare vs Netori

I just find it really fun when I'm in those situations with a good enough gameplay.

In a general sense there is a lot of things I'd like to see in games. But above all else this takeaway comment kind of hits on the biggest underlying issue you simply see too much of and which the large majority of games nowadays always end up suffering from in at least some aspect as a result imo.

I'd like to see more devs who don't get completely tripped up and always overly influenced on some universally adopted "this is what people really want" perception that ultimately ends up getting created by what essentially amounts to a small yet extremely vocal amount of always persistent in pushing their own individual likes forum warriors. To such an extent that devs tend to end up with a false takeaway that including a 2 foot long penis on their MC has added a universal appeal to a game it never actually does, much less will ever end up making them any real money on patreon out of that poster who you can also find singing that same "if only you changed this..." song in 100+ other threads of games they are coming here to download for free.

On that note, I'd also like to see more ambitious devs emerge like DrPinkCake. Who seemingly is one of few capable of understanding that while incest is and can be a popular theme with some people, and especially when used as a crutch among devs who are basically looking to concede away a good or even semi original story aspect in their game by "I'm not a writer" default, the same perception process above is still weighing quite heavily into this wildly popular adopted notion that you **need** to have or build your game around it for it to sell or end up wildly successful on a completely universal scale.

I mean just because 95% of games over the last couple of years are constantly defaulting to and recycling the same played to death "screw my mom and 2 sisters" format, and that is what people are given to play, doesn't necessarily mean **that** format in itself is the primary selling aspect to these games. It just means that is all most have to talk about in threads since that is what the game is about 95% on the time, and whether you care or not we all agree that calling other NPC's "landlady" or whatever makes no real sense insertion they use to get around Patreon comes across as distractingly stupid to read, so of course the perception that everybody "demands" incest in our games is going to appear much larger on the surface then it actually is.

as they will turn them against you should they lose in battle and you fail to rescue them in time.

Keeps things tense as the game progresses, that tension i never felt in Rai 7. Sure it can kinda happen there but it is rather bare bones imo. In Rance, as great a game as it is, it lacks that aspect of tension completely. Leane goes to great lengths to create a bond between the MC and the female units through a pretty long tutorial section that can even lull you in a false sense of security before it ups the stakes at play if you dont know what youre getting into.

I don't see why "by men for men" means we can't have more games like GGGB. The game is one of the most popular adult games of all time, so I would assume it is pretty much exactly what a lot of men are looking for in a game like that.

So you'd think that more devs try to copy the successful recipe. And I don't want to belive that only a woman can write a story/scenes as Eva did with that one. But maybe that's just me hoping that similar games come out soon because I agree with Lola Slut : I would love to see more games like it.

On topic:

• Realism rather than sci-fi/superpowers/etc.
• No sandbox/grind, but a continuing story I can influence with my choices
• Variety in content and scenes; not the typical "meet new person, bang them instantly, repeat". Play with different fetishes, maybe give the possibility to skip/remove them.
• I don't need terribly complex stories with too many characters and several twists, but it should be coherent and progress should be noticeable
• GGGB ticked all of the boxes for me, got a bit messy towards the end, but it's a great example of the kind of games I will always look for

I would like to see more devs finally figuring out the balance between well written and paced story and sex scenes. It seems that we often get, either sex scene spam with no story or an endless build up spanning years of dev time.

I would like devs to stop compromising their vision in favor of easy Patreon $$. Either make that incest game you wanted at the beginning or simply make a game without that fetish if you want to be on Patreon. Wanting to get both Patreon $$ and incest $$ smells like greed to me.

I would like more serious projects with 2D art that focus on story. It seems to me that most 2D art games have shitty sandbox gameplay and barebones plot. Probably because making the art for an engrossing story would cost more.

I would like more games with a villain MC that aren't the usual rapey kind. Make a MC with backstory and motivations, not a bad dude just looking to get his dick wet. Someone who's not the usual turbo-chad getting revenge with his dick but actually employs smarts and manipulation to achieve his goals. It's one of the things that I think Japanese VNs do better.

I want a game, based either during a war or on a new land mass, whatever, where the MC is sent to capture women to breed with due to them being the last of their line or whatever. A game with combat mechanics like JSK games or something else that’s more involved than turn based combat, and then followed by training gameplay.

NTR generally has the player sabotaging their characters to get cucked or corrupted. I've seen Leane get touted as a great game many times, but never really felt the urge to play it because of this reason. Playing "badly" to get scenes is fine in VN or even RPGMs, but I feel like strategy games are by definition gameplay driven and NTR just fundamentally doesn't fit. Imagine if venus blood frontier had most scenes as NTR that you could only get by playing badly.

I want to see more devs just focusing on making the game they want to make, instead of just putting out another copy of everything else that's been done to death. I totally understand the desire to stick with what's already proven to work, but I think there is still so much room for devs to be more creative with their characters, settings, and plot points in general.

Yes, it's the best leane game, the game has quite a few problems but not on the mechanics itself, overall I found it too easy and lacking in situations that make me actually do something. Main issues that I found related to the game are:

-Lack of invasion points: There is only one way for the enemy to advance and if you lose the capital you lose the game so you can at most lose 2 territories before they are at the capital.

-Lack of enemy strategies: Basically it would be nice that they could try things such as abducting female generals, transporting them and things like that. It would make male generals more important because they couldn't be abducted

-Harem mechanic being annoying: This part can actually be solved by locking the kings movements with cheat menu, but the thing is that the king will always move towards your heroines every few months, so the thing is that he will end up in enemy territory quite easily.

-Very bad enemy AI: The only strategy it follows is to accumulate troops and then attack all at once, which is really a disappointing AI.

Basically it is quite easy to evade all NTR content even in max difficulty, just max loyalty the girls so that you can stop the king from taking 2 of them in the initial event of the main part of the game and don't suicide girls (or even if you do, rescue them).

Personally I would have liked the MC to have more personality and endings with more than one girl but the focus is on the capture system and the harem one.
