Essentially there is no "wrong" choice, the VN continues as if you had made the correct choice, but it exists to remind you of what Logan's priority is. The original plan wasn't actually to have a "mean" or "no mercy" path, just a path where he dotes on Molly and has lots of sex, and a path where he doesn't dote on Molly and barely gets any action.

Well, it was more the lack of progression, if that makes any sense. In the originals Logan's mindset in season 3 hadn't changed from season 1. I wanted to have a series where he slowly becomes more dominant and more comfortable cuckolding Molly, but that never materialized due to my own lack of talent and/or experience.
Hmmm... Maybe that progession slowed down because you want to paint a fateful realistic picture based on your experience and interviews with actual cases. That's very recommendable but also takes away the freedom you had in the original game. Maybe it's a good idea to make some "hybrid" by putting in some lighthearted scenes mixed with some more serious themes. There are also people in real life that are more playful about these kind of things, or make very clear it's only a "script" like a theatrical play.

I'm not above putting jokes in, but the problem I am having right now is a key aspect that MUST be tackled. Namely, Logan's change in heart. Right now he thinks that this whole thing is just going to destroy his relationship that he spent the last 20 years building. I need to write a series of events, a catalyst where he finally realizes that as it was, a monogamous relationship, it was falling apart due to Molly's insecurities about her age and her infertility and this is her way of coping. In her mind it is a release from the normal wife's physical duties of pleasing her husband sexually and focusing on a purely emotional relationship.

I don't believe that porn and a good story are mutually exclusive, in fact with the length of visual novels there really should be no excuse to not have both. Most romance stories start with two single characters and end with a couple, however, ask anyone who has actually been in a relationship and they will tell you that getting a girlfriend is the easy part and it tends to play out the same way every time. Once you're in a relationship and having sex, that is where things start to get tricky and in my opinion, where all of the more interesting stories are.i just finish the remake one, and it's a whole lot of fun! you know what, im usually the person to hate the bullshit dialog in porn game, because mostly the writing is just bullshit and feels like didn't do anything to the story, at certaint point im just skipping the dialog
