Had the MC in RHC been raised by his mom instead of his dad, I would assume his sense of morality would have been much different. It seems reasonable to me that the MC in RHC is a bit 'rough around the edges'. I think it is worth noting that those women in his life all could have just said 'no' and walked away, but they didn't - for various reasons.

you have to start a new game, save files of previous versions won't work!

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Honestly wish there was a tag for Honey Select to filter those games out of the search. The sex scenes using this engine look particularly awful. Since there's no way to depict the vagina deforming with penetration.

Not only that but when the girl rides it's always the same 2 oddball positions that if done in real life would make her pass out from exhaution and leg cramps in under 3 mins. And it isn't just sex scenes that look weird. A simple big smile make them look like they are also gritting their teeth in pain or something. But yeah a tag/filter would be nice, as is I have to click it then look at preview pics so I don't waste my time and bandwidth.

Looking forward to try the last update. First version was actually a nice surprise, while not a masterpiece it was very pleasant and fun to play. There's also a good margin for character development. My only con was that I didn't like the aunt model that much (and I'm still being nice in the way I put it, because it isn't definitely not my taste at all), but I understand the dev wants to please everyone.

If the quality on this last version remains then it is definitely worthy of patronage.

Well it is logical to me to increase your relation by acting nice with the ladies, don't you think so? Maybe I'm the only one, idk. x)

The problem is that what makes sense to you doesn't necessarily make sense to another person. Depending on cultural context, personal lived experiences etc etc a short message that signifies an action can be interpreted in so many different ways. Like if you have a game choice that says "Take her hand and help her over the puddle" it can range in meaning from things like "I'm being a gentleman and doing the right thing" to "I'm making sure I get skin contact with her and getting her used to that" and even "I'm wearing down her sense of self-agency and making her reliant on me".

This is why it's a terrible idea to just handwave these things as "common sense" and I think removing the relations tracker is an absolutely bad idea. I've seen so many other AVNs where what I interpreted to be the OBVIOUSLY correct choice for a given path was the wrong choice for that path, it happens all the time. And if I can't confirm that somehow ingame then playing the game is going to be seriously frustrating.

I like when you actually need to do something to actually have the reward. It feels better that way. That may be because I'm a guy who likes the corruption theme, and likes when the story tries to not go to nonbelievable plots who are already the norm on many porn games. A game gets remembered because of a combination of factors, not because the porn. Porn all games have it.

Yep that's kind of what I'm thinking too.
I'm always trying to build a story and make it the main focus before adding the sex scenes in it. But of course, I try to add many teasing scenes and stuff, it's an AVN after all (can be with the clothes, or with unlikely situations).
The ones who know me with RHC know how I like to do with my games, even though "When It All Started" will have sex scenes faster because of the plot.

Well, I always try to make the right choice quite obvious. But it's also part of the game to make you wonder which one if the good choice. You can notice if the choice was wrong by the dialogues anyway, can still go back if you want to.
