its been doing a total remake for the last 18 months. Lol. And its taken a back seat to the other game, summers gone. First chapter will be mostly the same but the rest will be 98% different apparently. And allegedly each chapter will release 1 at a time.
So it will catch up in like 10 years
Well, the dev claimed the story/plot would be the same just the all the other stuff that plays the story out will be changed, well most of it. And other visual updates to scenes locations and characters. There were past pics posted to show the changes, their home and one gas station looked different for example.
I am hoping for these past 15* (not 18 my mistake earlier) months he was working on it even if most of his time was spent on Summers gone. I am going to assume he at least has the first 2 chapters done and maybe a third and will release them in chunks and not sit on completed chapter to release them one at a time months apart.
Im not too hopeful about miru's visual update and personality change..

The general plot and the keypoint remain (the mother is mute due to an accident, for example).

There is a mother, but there is no sexual content with her in the old version (0.6), in the new chapter one there won't be either (if they are going to include it it will be in the future).

This is from a dev log posted on 26th August, Ocean said he would post weekly dev logs until the release. I think it means the release of the new version is near, probably before the end of the year.

You mean her appearance or what? Cause Ocean is not gonna delete any character in the game. Just their appearances, storylines and events

So, as teased in the last log... This bibi log is all about Helen.
You guys have probably seen the reworked Helen already in an older post.
Helen specifically didn't just get a visual rework but also a personality one. (Actually, everyone got that.)
In the old WiAB, Helen was... hollow, and the only thing that did set her apart from being literally nothing was her being mute.
I personally also really didn't like old Helen's visual appearance (Especially her body. It looked very unnatural.)
Let's go with some old/new previews again.
Our first meeting with Helen.
A very big difference from the old WiAB is Helen's relationship with the MC at the beginning. Those of you who played the old one should know what I'm talking about.
While in the old WiAB.
Helen was just "Lewd-Game-Cringe". Her reaction and all that made no sense whatsoever.
In the new WiAB, she reacts much more like someone who got hurt and "betrayed".
But if you play your cards right... Then trust can be rebuild.
I should probably mention this in general. The MC leaving all the people behind did leave a sour taste in a lot of mouths.
The reactions from the people can be quite different from the old WiAB.
And because I see the question come up again and again... The new WiAB is pretty much 99% new content.
A complete overhaul of the story, personalities, and events.
The main plot points from the old ones are still there. (Helen's accident, Krayt, etc.)
All new Helen images in 4k res are attached at the bottom.

HOLY SWEET JESUS. Ocean outdone himself again. And I agree with him about all of those. Helen's reaction in old version seems too easy. I mean MC left his family without a word, even if she's happy to see him, the first reation normally will be angry firstYou must be registered to see the links
