Well, that's one less game to keep track of. Somewhere down the line the dev will probably decide that it still isn't how it was envisioned and just trash it all again... and it'll be called "where it never begun".

I can appreciate a dev wanting to make something better, but if you're not happy with what you end up with, why wait so long to start from scratch...

The music,the cheracters the writting the other gangs so much potential with enemys,ntr,mystery,girls with personalitie and the story telling this game has some huge potential if it will be allowed on steam too be honest I think this game is better than SG even if I love bella.

because this game trys a more seriouse approche you will not see cheap sex or fast ntr miru is very loyal and caring so it will need time(it will be better because it will hit harder) and does not go as fast the only reason why we got sex is because mc is in an relationship compared too summer is gone MC this is a real ADULT GAME and does not play like most other games on this site

Hi! You might have seen some of my posts in the SG thread. As I wrote there, WIAB has much more crime story elements than Summer´s gone. Where it all began is a crime/detective/romance story with some redemption parts in it. And there is a reason for the many characters, worldbuilding. We will see alot of them in SG someday as cameos and what they´ve done in the meantime.

I think the problem is more that if a story is going for a slow burn direction....a yearly release is fucking stupid because it makes the glacial pace even worse.

too be honest than I have zero idea which VN adult games you normaly play.

beaing more seriouse dosent mean cheracters have too be seriouse all the time and are not allowed to be goofy or make jokes like miru does in the overall story and how slow sex is how it handels other male cheracters and jelousy,drama,music and a lot of other things it has a more seriouse tone.

WIAB goes for the "on first look everything is okay, but look deeper and you see very few things are okay here" vibe. There are clear signs in artwork, text and even transitions that the mental aspects are a battlefield of ruins in many cases.

Well that’s just bullshit, they’re not throwing themselves at him, but the incest element hasn’t been removed from the story. It’s still very present with Leia and implied with Helen.

I will be honest - I don't know and don't care about most of those people, but:

1. Miru is great and the single most developed character so far. I like her.

2. The college girl - she is a college girl with issues, drive and feel of youth. A nice character to have, not much to say about her otherwise.

3. Katie. I can believe in her bullied past and her reactions seem sincere. She is lovely.

Everyone else? Passable, I guess.

9/10, would see Katie tap Miri's ass.

Original version is way better in every way save for the visuals, but the visual aren't close to making up for it. Kinda lame.

I do love it and I'll keep it and play it again just for the raccoon LMAO (and of course KATIE).. plus I know I'm in the minority but not a fan of the new MC. This is just getting started though, and Ocean is second to NONE.


I wish I could get rid of the creeping feeling that none of these are ever going to get finished. Quality is spectacular, but it's such a large production and his ambition is fucking insane.

I have to say that this has some of the most impressive animation and renders I have seen in a game. That said, I have also never seen a story based on emotion and drama work so hard to keep the reader in the dark and unengaged. Clearly the MC is troubled by these reunions, but we as the reader have no idea what is going on and thus feel nothing for it.
