Ocean's busy re-doing the game again from the start. All new renders and story,

He is doing this next update as a steam release. The steam page for WiaB has 2024 as a release date, I just don't think he'll make it in time. I don't think it is about money, as Ocean would focus on SG if he just wanted money - he already has far mor support from SG. He's doing WiaB because its important for the story he is creating. He's mentioned change, but the change he mentioned is in direction, and we don't know if it needs new renders or can simply continue as it is - we don't know if he's reworking anything or not.

I doubt there will be two devlogs. Most likely he'll release an SG one, ignore the fact he missed a WiaB one and released the third set of SG treats instead. But he might mention some WiaB related stuff in SG regards general workflow. Maybe he'll do a combined update with stats and numbers for both games?
There's still one unrevealed WiaB treat set though, so I excpect Ocean will deploy that (or the Leia set) for the next WiaB log, especially if it's emergency Katie renders. I guess we'll find out, but there's only so many treats he can post, people prefer information, and actual game releases to treats - game releases have more than 10 renders of our faves after all. The treats could be to avoid revealing renders which reveal things Ocean wants to keep a surprise because he's currently working on scenes that he wants to keep to himself for now.

Does this means that the Taxes Saga will come to an end ? What a pity. At least we may have a final showdown between Ocean and the tax collector.

It is not in radio silence, it is active in the SG room and also with the subs....
And I think it could be Wednesday's logs again... SG's last treat and not much more, maybe we are at the point of the year where we can already say that there will be no SG up date or the surprise of the year...

Oh I know, was more musing if the delay in the WiaB log might have a deeper meaning. I will take a log and treats for SG, not holding much hope that there is gonna be any update this year.

My bet is that he didn't get to complete the second WIAB treat and therefore didn't get to do the math on what's done and how much is left to do... then the log would just be “I couldn't do anything I said, but the work is still going strong.”

Tried this for the first time yesterday. A bit of a mixed bag to say the least, starts with some soap-opera level sentimentality, but gets a bit better around the spider hunt. Miru feels like next level teen nerd fantasy fulfilment and does absolutely nothing to me personally. The sisters, Daphne and some of the others are crazy hot, though, so I guess I'll check this out in a year or two (or three) considering the apparent glacial pace right now.

There was no WIAB log last week. No SG log has been released this week, yet.
