Because there were substantial changes to the story that make it harder than a simple copy/paste of words. Sections of the story have to be rewritten or it's not gonna make sense.

Nothing important was lost or will ever be missed. Especially not from newer players, players that don't carry that mess/bias of old luggage from the old game around.
From the reaction of you guys here, I was concerned about a total clusterfuck of a story. But I was proven wrong.
Even the old WIAB had a strong tendency to swing into the direction of a crime story, the framing for the rape or the final cinematic in the court.
One of the loudest crybabies here - forgot to quote that shit - has complained about Miru was enabling thug mode.
Miru was batshit crazy in the old game and had connection to some/her(?) kind of Yakuza family. At least one trait of her was portet over ...
It was mentioned that Miru and William had meet after/in prison, in Ch3 or earlier - IIRC.
The only thing I just ask myself is, do you guys even spend a fraction of a braincell and think about what is going on in the dialogs? Or are you just drooling over the one render after the another?
Just drop this adventure, it will just be wasted time.
Make your peace with the thought that this ship has sailed away and has sunk.
We are not talking about patching one or another scene back into the game. You have to think about the workload you get to catch up with this sort of stuff, and for what? From now on, including the present chapter, all future chapters have to be rewritten to force that taboo shit into it, until a point that your patch will alienate the patched game compare to original to the point of fubar.
Let's be honest with ourselves, we are not anymore in the early 2000s/2010s. The complete taboo stuff was the real shit, back in the AIF times, but that horse is dead, get it finally, stop beating it and move on.
If you really want to patch something back into the game. Build a patch to restore the cinematic back into the game from the start that has to be dropped because of the music license issues. That was something I have really missed.
On the first glance I recognised Noji, the reporter bitch Nicole, Sashas Mother - her used model is the same as used in the old WIAB, just without being pregnant, not 100% sure about this, to much time past ...
Well, time to get a replay of the book club scene in SG to find the other ones.
Nope, it will not work on the gallery because there is noting from chapter 4 present to be unlocked. Gallery version chapter 3 final.

It's in the workout scene with William and Katie. there is now and then a turn to Noji after the banter between the two, thefirst after Katies threatens William about a rumor of harassment.
And she's shown waiting outside the gym beside a pillar, shortly before Dana complains about the traffic on her way to the office.

I finally finished playing it—oh fuck, what a bottomless pit Ocean dug themselves into! All this flirting, so much garbage across 4,800 renders, and the plot progression… Oh, and then this dumbass introduces a whole new storyline after eight years? The best idea his fried brain could come up with was taking a mafia world where we only knew Zane, Rivera, and the Petrovs… and dumping in an entire mafia nation?! Some people joked that John Wick doesn’t seem so unrealistic now—fine, whatever, keep the mafia. But then they cram in these medieval-ass marriage-of-convenience tropes? Brilliant plan! Take the mafia + arranged marriages + John Wick’s dog, chop it all up, flush it down the toilet, and hit ‘publish on Steam.’ A recipe as reliable as a Swiss watch. Now we’ve got seven more years of development for the rest of the mafia families, and if SS doesn’t ban incest, Ocean’s officially a clown. How they’ll dig themselves out of this mess? Summer is a Zane... and if the new info they added about inter 'family' relationships leading to bad things then id say either they took her away cos of possibly who sg mc is related too.. or because he wasnt worthy of their 'blood' being with a low born like his true family.. or rival 'family'.. that said and i dont wanna make the universe too interconnected but he could be Leia's son... or that would be mt assumption if she wasnt the funder of the college bar already in sg

Bob, let's be more rational, it is predicted that 20 years passed between SG and WiAB, but it does not mean that it was 20 years at the exact moment that William and Miru set foot in "THE CITY THAT THEY ARE IN", a lot of things will still happen before we start counting the 20 years, and as everyone is sick of knowing, characters were remade, killed, new characters entered, the story changed, so I still maintain that this is Vic's mother, if it is Maja's too, I don't know.
