That's absolutely not what happened.

Patreon never gave a care of what was on their site even though it was against their TOS until they received complaint from both Paypal and Mastercard threatening to leave if Patreon didn't comply. (And subscribestar might go the same way soonish).

Now unless there are some legal threat against Steam hosting those(which is still a possibility in the future), they won't give a flying fuck.

Quite correct and more, Steam is a big fish in the gaming scene and far less wedded to a single money processor as Patreon is. If Paypal or other creditcard firms tell Patreon to jump, they have to comply sooner or later, because they have no other substantial payment options.
Steam for all their obvious faults has a multitude of payment options, a single provider option simply has not the pull to force Steam like they can Patreon or SS. Steam only fears various government regulations and public backlash.

He left because of problems in the family, caused by Katie over the Leia/MC thing, of course. But the "MC left all behind" ISN'T the main plot. It's just a part and ever was. Even in the really shitty old version with the fucked up graphics before the reworks.

Then there was no plot, isn't the entire point of this overrated slop is the MC mending his relationship and facing his pasts. Holy fucking shit even Ocean doesnt know his own story plot.

Ocean could’ve fixed it by making Katie and Leia already engaged — that way, any romantic interaction with them would look really bad. But then he’d have to kill off the whole Zoey/Katie thing.

Ocean and the word "fixed" definitely doesn't mix well. They're like mortal enemies, 7 years and he cant even fix his game's plot and we're still in the intro in both games.
