In the broader context of the whole scene William still makes it pretty clear that he MIGHT not come back, as in the original. So I reckon it still works as intented. I'm sorry you don't see it that way, but as I've said before, I'm not trying to make anyone agree that playing the game with my mod is the canon way.

If someone doesn't know the original, they wouldn't come to the conclusion of that conversation in a logical and natural way. In other words, it doesn't work, and since you are the "author" you will logically try to defend your decision, but it doesn't work anyway.
Last comment: once you release your work to the public, everyone can criticize you as you criticize Ocean.

Fully agree. Alain's SG mod is quite literally the only thing the makes the game playable for me. I played Oceans original version and I can say with absolute confidence I wouldn't touch that game without the uncut mod. I couldn't. And I shared this with alain.

As for WiAB...while I do appreciate alain's efforts immensily...it's just polish on a turd Not his fault.

Here's an example...in Chapter 1, when MC says his goodbyes to Daphne...I'd be honest and say that if you've enjoyed the original, you might not want to replay it again with my mod, unless you wanna go for the Taboo version and/or the additional renders/cinematic. But the script itself wouldn't probably be reason enough for a replay.

Many possible reasons. It’s his game, his vision and doesn’t want anyone to interfere (quite likely and understandable), hiring outside help means spending money he doesn’t have, etc…

You missed the point of what my mod was all about. It comes in two flavors: one standard and one taboo. Both reintroduce the intro cinematic and renders there and there, and the Taboo goes further in reintroducing MC and Leia as being siblings. But that was not the main purpose of the mod.

Changing the whole dialog was a deliberate choice of mine. I'm not doing mods the way someone else would feel like it should be done, I'm doing them the way I would appreciate them. Ocean's storytelling (and the same is true of Summer's Gone) is poor. Its dialog writing is not proper English, there are typos all around, grammar mistakes and awkward phrasing in almost every sentence. You can live with that, fine. I can't. It distracts me from really enjoying the game.

Changing the parts about Mom, Dad and sisters would mean rewriting the whole story. Essentially making a whole different game. You wanna do that? Fine, be my guest, everyone is entitled to creating a mod if he feels like it.

But people on here thinking they can do a full incest mode with how the story currently pans out are either delusional, or haven't even paid attention to the story in Chapter 4.

I get what your saying. And I totally get it. It's your mod. Im just saying it isn't for me. I see some of the typos and all and understand that some Devs don't see them, or don't speak English as their first language and I compensate for this. You do your mod as you want. Those who like it will use it. Those who don't won't. I just said my piece. But I don't begrudge you your opinion.

I can second this, without Alain´s mods WIAB and SG have become completely unpalatable with their last updates. Pretty pics with "stories" which should be shot on sight. It is rare for me to be so deeply disappointed with games with such potential getting ruined by ultra-stupid storyline reworks.
Oh, by the way did I mention the MAFIA made me do it!

With Chapter 4 I wanted to introduce collectibles, such as renders, but because I don't use freeroam mechanics, finding a way to implement them is a bit more complicated but I have an idea.

However,

I will be posting the collectibles that were for Chapter 4 over the next logs.

Next time I'll post the collectibles of Dana and Leia. Both have normal and NTR-themed ones.

I finished porting all characters to G8.1, so I will soon start building the environments for the next update.

To know when WIAB will get back into production, check out the SG logs. As soon as the rendering for them finishes, I will start rendering WIAB CH5.

Finished chapter 4 today and wow, it was a ride. I don't mind the mafia storyline, although it would be nice if it was introduced much earlier in the storyline. That cliffhanger ending though...

Can't wait for the next chapter and hopefully we'll see some of that porn production in it
