I think it's reverse psychology on this forum the very people that have not or is not right now supporting Oceanlab are the ones defending him.Verses the once that complain are the ones that been and are currently supporting him because they are the ones out the money so have the biggest reason to complain because it's costing them something. That's a pretty stupid take. Nobody is forcing supporters to give money to Ocean. They could have stopped at any point in time, could stop, then start again after progress is shown, whatever. If you want to support someone, and have a problem with doing it, then either complain on that platform, where it's appropriate, or get therapy to find out why you're either continuing to give money to someone you're angry with, or why you're angry about something you keep doing. Neither sounds particularly healthy.

People who "white knight" are not always defending Ocean, they're just sick of all the bitching and complaining. This forum is the main way many of us follow the progress of the game and find out about updates. Getting a notification and finding out that it's just bitching and whining all the time is really frustrating. It also serves no real purpose.

Nobody's holding a gun to your head to do it. Nobody is making you continue doing it. Do it or don't. There's no reason to complain or be angry. If you are, do it there. Stop screaming in our ears.

3. This is a pirate site. This is not a therapy session. Get therapy. This is for discussing the game. That doesn't mean complaining about the dev, it means talking about plot, mods, walkthroughs, gameplay advice, etc. If the rules say we can't post fan art, then why would Patreon bitching be allowed?

Therefore the upcoming wiab update will be an indicator for its success (or not). I think SG is more popular because it has more content so far (if I'm not being wrong). I personally think that the massive wiab update can do wonders to its success. We'll see. And naturally my statement was just a little bit of exaggeration even if I really prefer wiab over SG by FAR.
