As far as Steam goes, we don't know. Ocean made a statement that he withdrew ages ago about relationships. I can only imagine he wants to reveal some of those things in game. Steam doesn't seem to care, but because the game is tied to SG... who knows? We'll hopefully find out in 3 weeks (1 week steam resubmission, 2 weeks with curators for site reviews).

Theoretically, it might work to have it on WIAB as sexual content if it will not go back to Patreon, while only the consequences will be carried on to SG (Nika)
Even with that, I think if Ocean decides on having it, he will not do it directly, but make it so that an i-patch makes sense

That's my thought too. WiaB won't be going back on patreon, Ocean's been clear about that. I imagin you can't resubmit a project that has been booted. Plus, he'd be continually stressed about it, when the plug will be pulled again.

From what he said and took back in an old devlog... is too long ago, and he might have changed his mind, so in three weeks we'll find out what he's uploaded to steam (fingers crossed) and we'll be able to guess the direction moving forward.

I would wage is a 50/50. I am both excited and apprehensive for this update. There is a lot riding on Steam, I don't know how Ocean can justifies its development other wise. I mean, maybe he dosent has to, but the time invested alone is quite significant. And even for a new public, who hast played previous versions, there is a fair chance that the story wont make sense -SG dosen't make much as it is. I really hope that whatever Ocean did was well thought out and we get a well round story.
