If you had the patch, you need to restart. Even reapplying the patch to the new version shit the bed.

rolling back the scenes seems to be removed too.. ie reversing what you have just seen if you missed a line of dialogue or made a wrong choice.. bought the steam version but also this version ready for the walkthrough mod so i dont miss stuff this time through

Holy hell, so William isn't even a Zane anymore, i'm not a fan of incest but ngl, when Leia and William were still a Zane, i feel like it was more prominent and relevant, especially when you play Summer's Gone. I don't have a backing statement why I said that, but it felt right. with Miru having different names, I wonder if she even used "Nojiko" xD Ok im reaching at this point. Well, at least I won't feel weird "romancing" Leia and Katie now if William ain't a Zane
Yes, I am playing now with no patch at all, you will have to restart, i am guessing there are a lot of changes in the dialogue. The example of Miru talking about Leia is also that.

Instead of making content for his novels, the author, like others like him, makes wallpapers in 2k-4k (who the fuck needs them). Of course, the time it takes to create stories increases, and the author needs to somehow justify the subscribers' costs for his fap content

Incest is the reason. He heavily sanitized both games to make them more mainstream. No publishing platform loves incest so he had to do away with it all.
From what I've seen (which is not a lot) this looks like Sharknado levels of stupid. Dude is combining Mafia storylines with 16 and 17th century notions of arranged marriages and shit. It's bonkers butkinda hilarious at the same time

As a staunch defender of Ocean, I just can't get passed this retcon.
He has basically shifted the entire narrative of the entire Oceanverse, changing names which have been established in both WiaB and SG. I will not be surprised if he will have to go back and rework the reworked SG to align the now altered relations.
Imagine constructing half a house, then deciding you need to change the foundation from cement to play-doh...

Already bought the second masterpiece from the author. 5 bucks you do not feel sorry for such a cool and atmospheric and story game with very beautiful characters, which the author makes and tries very hard to add his love to his game, I recommend buying it to all fans of this game!
