I largely agree, Ocean has to make the leg work to explajn this things, I don't think is dead in the water yet but it certainly is a difficult task. I think more flashback is needed for us understand what was the dynamics in the Zanes house and the first chapthers need to be rewritten to reflect the change. As it is... things don't hold much water I am just postponing judgement until the end of the season and if Ocean did not make sense of the mess then I will cry about it

Yeah that's fair but if we keep having to wait for Ocean to "fix" things...it's kinda hard to enjoy what he releases.

To me it all feels off. I don't get the same closeness between them with this new dynamic. It feels more like lust and jealousy than love and teasing. And the things she threatens him with are proof of that. Like who gives a flying fuck what the mafia thinks, says or does. 8 years went by without them giving a fuck. What's different now? It just feels like they're playing each other and using each other for their own goals. There's no sense of loyalty, duty or deeper bond between family members.

I had similar thoughts playing this route. But Ocean is consistent that cheating is not Miru's nature, so I don't think they have fuck. There are different opitions of the open relationship one where you have to approve any sexual activity and one where you just approve penetration, the cab scene exist but it not being in the script says something, maybe Ocean thought it didn't fit the character. I do think that Miru NTR route is closer than we might think but was only 3 days with out sex, if that was enough she would have cheated before.

The mod adds it in with Miru's call to William. Who's to say that's where the scene was intended to be? Who's to say the Miru/William telephone dialogues wouldn't be different if those renders were present.

What's clear from the unmodded Steam script is that Miru getting heavy with the Krayt guy in Ch 4 is dependent on her having the bathroom NTR scene in Ch 3. The bathroom NTR scene is dependent on a bunch of variables in Chs 1 - 3 (Global NTR on / Suggesting then reaffirming open relationship with Miru / keeping Miru horny / Agreeing in bathroom on universal poundy coupon).

People said the bathroom NTR was gone from the game. It's not. The Ch 3 bathroom Miru NTR scene is still in the unmodded Steam release, and Ch 4 topless Miru telling Will over the phone about getting felt up by the Krayt guy is still in the unmodded Steam release. They are both dependent on Ch 3 Miru/William agreeing to Miru getting a universal poundy coupon, redeemable by men other than William.

All that's missing are the six renders (named q5 to q10) showing Miru getting initimate with the Krayt guy. I think we have no context to those renders other than them likely only getting triggered by William agreeing in Ch 3 to Miru having fun with other men...

Thus, the way the mod introduces those missing lewd renders makes it look like Miru is deceiving William. I think that's disingenuous for the reasons outlined above.

If without spoilers: much better visuals, the soundtrack has changed for the better, everything feels smoother, as well as changes in the story, which (for me) made the game better but slower. Either way you should play it for yourself. But be prepared - the MC's chin and jaw moves more and more forward with each update

Probably the main change, MC isn't related to anyone now. So, no bum-bum with step-sis anymore. If 'cest was the main reason you play, better drop the game right now.

Besides that, another big change is that Wollust is mostly ruled by criminal families with rather medieval rules and traditions, and the Zanes are one of those families. It's not that something like this wasn't intended in the old version, but now criminal rivalries and mafia life are brought to the forefront of the plot and some plot elements are adapted to this change in the main storyline.

Otherwise, it's still the same WiAB, only better. The MC (Oh yeah, his appearance has changed, he now looks like Momoa, but that's not new, in the old WiAB he was changed two or three times.) is still fooling around, groping girls, cracks dumb jokes and trying to figure out why Leia has asked him to return. But now all this has a mafia flavor.

There is certainly a small but rather vocal group of users here who took the change with hostility and endlessly repeat in this thread how they don't like anything since the release. And maybe twice as many people who didn't like the changes too, wrote a review about it and moved on.

The rest of us are enjoying the update and waiting for moar.

Was not into Incest, but removing relationship with everyone does not sounds very promising, I mean imo that had major effect on plot. Guess will know once I play it, fingers crossed, I was enjoying where the old version was going without my NTR and 'cest run
