We've had this discussion here. For the timeline and context to make sense after this new rework, William had to have left at around the age of 16. Since then about 7 and a half to 8 years have passed which would put him at around 24-25. Katie does not seem to be in her first year of College which probably means she's at least 19 maybe 20. Making the age gap of 4-5 years probably. So yeah you can argue that a 16 year old kissing an 11-12 year old is still creepy but legally it doesn't make him a pdf.

well.. technically and legally, pedo means prepubescent. so 12 and lower.
and legally, willy wonka is eligible for jail time at that age difference.

Anyone who played the game both with and without the Uncut Edition mod noticed any difference? I know that the mod rewrites the dialogs to improve the game's flow, but does it actually do? I played only the original version but it looked fine for me... Any experiences with the mod? Is it worth to play over again with it?

Stuff like the intro cinematic got re-added, renders that weren't used got tossed back in, etc. You can read all about it on the mod page under features.

Yeah I did read it, just didnt want to list everything... My question that is it worth a replay? Cuz if its just some dialog diff and a few images (which you can check btw in the mod folders before installing it...), I dont want to spend another x hours to play it again. Btw the mod rewrites the persistent file or something since I cant even use skipp option on the already seen texts to fast forward to the new dialogs...

I would say no in that case. Maybe save it for a future replay if you choose to start over. Other than images left out that were added and grammar corrections there isn't that much more if you're satisfied with what you got so far. I'm sure there are other ways to check out the intro cinematic if you're really interested but it doesn't contain anything worth much trouble, imo.

It can be found easily on YouTube or unpack the cinematic.rpyc (in Ch3 folder or alaian's mod, or dl my own fix for it seperately) for the hd version.

You also can't just 'patch it. Would make no godamn sense. To change to 'family'...it needs a rewrite, which is exactly what Alain did...but apparently, for some reason, you like stating unfounded facts based on...well, not really sure what you're basing that on...

I guess I brushed past that a little, even though I do remember it. I just don't think that was given as the reason why he ran away. It's hard to say for sure with all the changes. The 'first domino' implying that there are more reasons. Oh well. I still have trouble keeping up with all of the rewriting and retcon fuckery.

Go to the OP and download the Uncut Edition Mod. It was made by Alain. When chapter 5 comes out next decade or whenever, you'll need to wait on them to update the mod to continue your save but it'll give you the incest if that's what you're looking for.

Ok, thanks. Katie is so hot sister, so I can't wait. It's shame that Miru isn't MC:s sister, because Miru is very hot too. But maybe in mod I can make Miru MC's sister, i don't know.

I might be interested. As long as you don't completely re-write the whole game like the Taboo patch has it. I've played it with and without that patch, and I actually like it without. At least it isn't the stupid landlady when it is meant to be mom. The Dev changed it to adoptive parents. Which works good.

I get that. But almost every piece of dialogue was changed. Even conversations with Miru before Leia calls him was changed. And they didn't need to be, in my opinion. There's changing a little bit to make it incest-able. And there is completely changing what the Dev had envisioned in the first place. That's all I'm saying. Don't change the entire game. Just the parts about mom, dad, and sisters.

Ahhh I didn't actually realise that (I have no interest in it). I'll agree, that's just utterly pointless changes for the sake of it.

I have no issue with it as it is. Sure, dropping the ic is disappointing but the story hasn't really changed and I'm not obsessed enough with a fetish to either whine all day about it or rewrite entire sections of the plot to put it back in. Why in my own mod I only added back the cinematic and one render. No script changes at all (dialogue).
