Yeah, I mean he's already lost the biggest funding in Patreon. If Steam "ever" decided "hey we don't want adult" content, it would be more than just "incest" games. Both of his games have gone through so many reworks and rewrites, neither are what they started as...I'm sure the next update for both will change things yet again.
There was also a comment (maybe a few) somewhere in this thread that someone else might have originally written the incest parts with WiAB, how true that is, no clue.
guys dont worry if the plot is all over the place, after chapter 6 we are getting another remake anyways! and by the looks of it we are also going from tiddy sucking to hand holding as far as lewd content goes!

Steam, for all their faults, will never come down on their own product base like this. Sream will keep on selling games which never have chances on a bigot system like Patreon. By the hangman, even we in Germany can still buy some "fun" games on Steam if it is not blatant. For instance, there is a really good VN series with a crime storyline and sci-fi elements in it, where one possible LI is your sister. While the pictures of the love scenes are very vanilla and harmless (a reason this game never got flak), the texts describe in loving detail the love-making and that the girl you are with is your sis.
Ocean obviously never informed himself well why Steam blocked Germany and that it had nothing to do with the stories. Ir was about the age verification, since minors can easily call up 18+ games. You might have read my post about it.

I think this dev focuses more on storytelling then on scenes, which is good IMHO. I hate when it's the opposite (and in that case way too often scenes suck too).

Every time I play this I can't help but think that with Ocean doing 2 games at the same time and each being a heavy story focused slowburn it's kind of annoying they don't just focus on one game or the other to completion first.
I won't comment on the lack of incest or NTR as I was never bothered by it being there or not being there. But I will say the notreallysudden mafia plot reveal... is certainly a choice and it's going to impact SG most likely as well. Will be interesting to see how well it's done or if a lot of stuff is gonna get handwaved away because "mafia"

But ocean just wants be safe for future which I can understand.
So no steam is definitly like other plattforms and onlyfans that someone ask is obviously also regulated...

Right? the incest thing could have been handled a little well, but the rest of the storyline were good and the story progressed. The issue often WiAB has is the amount of content we get compared to the production period.
With so much charectors and storylines the content should be more.
Lol, each version of this game has less lewd scenes. By the next update next year, we will have to play from start again, and it wont have any sex in it.
Pardon me, but that is partly bull. Rapeday was banned for very good reasons, which had nothing to do with creative freedom. You choose an extreme here. I am not a fan of some Steam regulations, like geoblocking, but as long as it is part of the bigger story, Steam does not care about a lot of things in the games. And, unlike the s..heads at Patreon, Steam does not care about 18+ patches popping up outisde their hometurf.

The problem was not the criticism itself, but how it was presented. The tone makes the music...
And when I look at the whine and bitch from the users here, I can understand every Dev who will sooner rather than later leave here.
I've only just arrived in Ch4, so I can't say anything about the mafia stuff and how it was implemented. But since the night visit at the latest, it was clear in which rough direction the game would develop - at least for me. And after the number in the basement of the farm, there was no longer any doubt.
So what's all the moaning about now?
Because now everyone is no longer related to everyone, regardless of shape, colour or taste?
Sorry, there's nothing I could care less about anymore.
