He left because of problems in the family, caused by Katie over the Leia/MC thing, of course. But the "MC left all behind" ISN'T the main plot. It's just a part and ever was. Even in the really shitty old version with the fucked up graphics before the reworks.

Then there was no plot, isn't the entire point of this overrated slop is the MC mending his relationship and facing his pasts. Holy fucking shit even Ocean doesnt know his own story plot.

Ocean could’ve fixed it by making Katie and Leia already engaged — that way, any romantic interaction with them would look really bad. But then he’d have to kill off the whole Zoey/Katie thing.

So, Katie is not a sister anymore? I thought the incest patch wasn't working but now that I know they updated the relationship, the whole interaction with her feels off. MC who wants to bang literary anything was so not wanting to see her like that because her being his sister make much sense than just some mafia rule.

In the finale of chapter 6 William is being brought before the mafia court. Beginning of chapter 7 William is before the galactic council of the artificial colony of Alpha Centauri Wollust-08, to answer for crimes against the selection for the advancement of the species, given the difficult environment and the scarcity of resources the matings are decreed by the council to ensure the best genetic traits in future generations........

Anyway Ocean will keep bullshitting and I made a comment a while back in other thread about how many time ocean has tweaked things whether rework or rework of rework, etc. that he might've OCD. Just... Just do it once and for all you're already taking more than 1 year to put out and update. Ruined such amazing character's and a worthy story to just a shell.

I'm wondering how long until he announces a remake. He has proven he doesn't "think", he "feels". Right now he's managed to convince himself that it's fine, but if he loses his marbles over not having the right song for a cinematic, then eventually the first 3 chapters will start sticking out like hemorrhoids. And off we go..

But the new 5 year remake won't kill the game, only the fans. What is more likely to end it all is some music license expiring or being pulled and him choking on a mettbrötchen out of sorrow. The development saga will be worthy of a book written about it.
