Concerning the story, the core will be the "same"(accident of the mother, tension with the younger sister, weird realtion with his twin)? I really like the mysterious story about the mother and the redemptin path around the younger sister.

It's not a impression. Back in 2020, Ocean said that chapter 6 was continuation from the "new" story (in this post https://f95zone.to/threads/where-it-all-began-v0-6-full-oceanlab.19856/post-3893172). But aparentely, the plans changes and chapter 6 will be reworked too. Makes me wonder if the plan to release the rework in five releases is still on or if now there will be 6 releases.

See, I knew I was remembering it right. Seems like there were some quite significant changes made to the story during this past year.

Yeah, seems the story change so much that even the chapter 6 doesn't fit anymore. While this is understandable if it's true, I regret that in the end the current chapter 6 became a waste of time. Time that he could have used to have started the rework sooner.

Yes, he's reworking renders and animations from Chapter 1 and 2 slowly as he releases new chapters.

Yes, the story will be the same. The storytelling that will be different and most probaly better

No idea. But I don't think it will take more than 3 month in my opinion cause Ocean just gonna continue from where he left 3 month ago. Just my opinion not from Ocean

It was long time ago, dev changed it next release. It became optional, so you might wanna give it a go. It's pretty solid game.

I sort of half assumed what was taking so long was that he was maybe going to release the first few redone chapters under one big update, but this...Jesus Christ, 14 (probably 16 by the time it releases) months for just one chapter worth of content?

These 5 reworked will be entirely different to the old one. Like a whole new game so that why it takes a lot of time if he reworks all 5 chapters then updates it. On top of that he's making 2 games at the same times so wait for 5 chapters to release at the same time would take at least another year if not may be 2 years. Do you seriously want to wait that long?

Is not a "or", but an "and". If a dev don't release anything, but still update people once in 3 months about his work, the game will never be considered abandoned.

actually, a couple of days ago it was marked as abandoned. then the dev intervened, and tag was quickly removed. i wonder how he avoided onhold tag . also, some time ago one negative review of his other game (summer's gone) appeared. it was removed in the blink of an eye. not all games (devs) have the same treatment here at f95 .

Mainly because that's a dev requested tag not one that's given by mods.

A dev needs to request their game put on hold or it's either left open or tagged abandoned. As the dev is still active it won't be marked abandoned but unless the dev himself requests it, it won't be tagged on hold either.

You must have some solid proof of why it was deleted to make a claim like that, gonna love to see it.
