No wonder why haven't found any good games to play.. Everything is either on hold or already abandoned and never to picked up again. Ffs.. The hell is going on?? What's the goal here?? Make a game. Get enough subscribers to earn enough money for continue of the game and then quit making that game and keep all the money?? Nicely done for all the subscribers.. They must be happy knowing they spent they'r money and never saw end for those games.
Damn.. All new games that come out look like copies of everything copied from other games with new story but so, so, so bad.. Story mostly sucks and game itself is horrible. Good games have died while shitty ones seem to thrive.

Almost impressive how you seem to have missed the point of both why they have put it on hold and how Patreon works..........almost impressive.
What's going on is that your first post in this thread is nothing more than you being a whiney shit about something you didn't even bother to check first. You just saw that the thread had been given the On Hold prefix, and went in gums flapping.
The game's not On Hold, devs did not request the tag for it, they're redoing some early art and minor rewrites of earlier stuff, and aiming to put the game on Steam as well.
Considering the devs conduct in the past with pausing payments several times so patrons weren't being charged, I'd say they've more than earned the respect given to them and more.

Hope it works out for them. Haven't published a game on Steam, but I imagine there are plenty of new issues and gremlins that come up with publishing on a new platform. And since it's a one-time payment as opposed to a sub, it might take a while to offset the cost of the lost subscribers. Most adult games typically have low visibility on Steam, so there'll have to be a marketing push to drive new players to the game - I don't know how many existing subscribers are going to double-dip and buy it just to have the game on their Steam library.
All things considered, not sure it makes sense as a method of financial injection. Hopefully, the crew have already crunched the numbers and got their ducks in a row with their break-even point and such.

I looked at one of the screenshots and was struck by the similarity between Zara and Elaine. But could Zara be the mother of Elaine and Isabella?
Elaine is quite dark. Yes, and Zara seems to be a mulatto. I need to re-watch Zara's story. maybe there will be something about her past. but why did Zara keep silent about the fact that she had children? illegitimate? were sent to an orphanage?
