Well, you're right in some way, Katie's ass is great but Jenna is more wife material.
However I prefer Katie's personality (and ass also) so I'll chose her in the end If we don't learn that she's Elaine's secret daughter which I'm wondering more and more considering how Elaine looks like a milf version of Katie.

Yeah, I think I'm the same. I've played it with the patch and didn't feel like it added enough to worry about it afterwards. It's perfectly set up, I really wish more devs did away with the landlady and roomies and just made them family friends.
