hello everyone, I read on the last page about the devs update but I'm curious about the remaster? does anyone know how far into the remaster is the dev? Is the dev going to do a remaster of the whole game and if he/she is then how long does he/she anticipate for the remaster to be done? any help would be great
You can avoid all the women and no one will be pregnant, not much fun though.

Season 1 of the remaster is complete. Season 1 contains episodes 1 through 10 of the original game, but they are reorganized and called Chapters 1 through 6 in the remaster (yes, it's confusing). The original game will consist of 25 episodes.
Yes, the entire game is going to be remastered, but episodes 18 and higher are less work since the main point of the remaster was to bring episodes 1-17 up to the quality of episodes 18 and higher. Don't assume episodes 18 and up will require no work though, we already know that isn't the case, at all.
A recent developer update stated Season 2 of the remaster is expected in early 2026. However, that doesn't really help with knowing when the remaster will be done. I haven't seen a post from CheekyGimp stating how the remaining episodes will be divided into the remaining seasons of the remaster (i.e. will there be 2 or 3 seasons total, and which episodes will be in them?), and I wouldn't expect to get that information until after episode 25 is released.

thank you for taking the time to explain, it's very kind of you, and you're right I'm confused as fu*k, so if I download the remaster and that only gets me 6 chapters, after I'm done the 6 chapters how the heck do ya start chapter 7??? thanks again
This has been explained multiple times. Download and play the Season 1 remaster, then download and play the original game and use the "Start Any Episode" feature to start at Episode 11. Answer the questions based on how you played the remaster, then play until the end of episode 24. Be happy for a while, then wait for the episode 25 update.

Episodes 1-10 of the original has been reworked into Chapters 1-6 of the remaster.
That's why the change from "Episode" to "Chapter": because there isn't a one-to-one relationship.

Hm... Monica's wedding? Kinda surprised Zarah isn't a bridesmaid. Also, Bella's sitting as far from Elaine as possible!
He doesn't have to worry about teasers, for as long as he has some Jolina pics to share, I'm teased just fine
.As for his ideas:
I'm all for #3, as I love the whole police procedural thing, and most of the current cop AVNs are about undercover work, classic investigations are rare. That niche is still relatively free. Drama, action and adventure come with the territory.
#1 could work too, vacations are strangely underused in AVNdom, and his WTHI experience would help pull off a very successful game dedicated to that.
#4... Sounds really similar to most of other supernatural or sci-fi AVNs, such as How to Fix the Future, so probably not the best option, but that may be my anti-supernatural-in-AVNs bias talking. Still, I really hope he changes the premise if going for supernatural, "common guy sucked into supernatural" is too common in that area.
Finally, I also very much hope he decides against #2, and that premise is woefully overused in all sorts of AVNs, be they harem, sandbox, linear, incest etc.
And as the ceremony begins and the preacher asks "does anyone know of any just cause or impediment", a cry from the back. "Hold your horses", and in marches a pregnant Theresa.

It would be nice if he could do a Sci-fi story next, maybe the Mc children "all grown up at 18+" from the family line going into 100 years into the future or more. As you play, find out how the Mc spent his dad's fortune, or how he lost it over the years, maybe he was the founder of the Synthia-Tech Corporation that made the realistic human-like androids with an emotional synthetic core. Have a part cyberpunk theme crossed with Blade Runner style or close to it.

Many have tried to get bladerunner level connections, but I doubt anyone can make a good scifi renpy game good, most of the games are goofy when scifi is introduced.
In my opinion, the Ep: 1-24 version is preferable -- because steam will leave you hanging right at the end. It's a work-in-progress, so you'll have to wait to see future sex scenes. Also, there's no sex with Monica yet.
