Now that i think about it, i think it was my first western VN too, back when i picked games form another pirate directory and i only had tried html games with porn gifs. Of course i had my history with Japanese VNs since the 90's... Ah, Three Sister Story and Runaway City... So far still two of the most bizzarre and nonsensical plots i remember. Haha, I played those as well and as far as the old school hentai games go, nonsensical is standard. The ones that mixed in horror were where things get real crazy. I remember one where the MC was brutally murdered by the primary LI at the start. But it was okay because it was to unleash his "true power" lol. I think I was just lucky my first excursion was with Nocturnal Illusion which was really tame by comparison to many.
Nocturnal Illusion war pretty crazy too, by the way. I don't think i saw a MC having sex with a mermaid anywhere else. It also inspired a DnD campain of mine. But the totally out of the blue plot twist award goes to Runaway City, where after a pretty standard being a youngster, going around Tokio, lay the girls plot this girl come out telling "You know what? Since your birth you are magically bound to a divine tree that grows in a nearby temple that was never mentioned in the game before and now you have super-powers". Really, WTF?

but hey many tastes for many people i will never put katie or lilly under Jenna at least not at the curent state of game. For me she is one of the most unrealistic of the bunch and her story is inconsistent with the type of female it represents... i mean make her virgin make her voyeur make her depraved... it combines too many types without much thinking.Different tastes still ...

Though I disagree with some conclusions it was quite an enjoyable read. No throwable rocks here!I did not see Wanda as a money grubber. She was more a 'Need for Attention' character. Probably was ignored by parents and so she is starved of someone actually caring for her. Ergo, she leaps at the first sign someone is paying the slightest attention to her. Good or bad, she gets to be the focus. Ergo her desire to be a model. Her attitude toward othersis always rude and aggressive to start. She focus them on her. She is in the spotlight all the time. The eye of the camera, the eyes of the photographer, all the eyes of the fashion world. She becomes the center of attention, even if just for a moment. IMO.
