You technically don't even have to break up with Katie do you? On my KDL path I said I was still interested in her and she seemed ok with it, but I was with Lilly as well.
Can you not just put in every relationship as null but Debbie for any chapter with the starting point feature? You don't even have to actually play the game to find the answer.
