Saving building builds. Wonder how that will work in practice
They started a channel in discord to share buildings but it was actually just sharing the entire save. They wanted people to zip their entire save file and post it in order to share it. I tried to suggest that maybe instead share the Level.sav file as it might hold the building information allowing players to maintain their original characters instead of playing someone elses game. But they didn't want feedback in that channel so they deleted it. Seems they have found a better way. This will actually be kinda cool if it works.

What I've done in the past that has worked for me was I replaced the Level.sav from one character save to another. Alternatively you delete it and the map will refresh, but that also means wiping anything you built. But importing it to another save also worked, but that was in the same directory so it might not work across systems. And it might not work across builds. But this .json seems like the answer to the issue. You can import someone's buildings to your own map and still retain everything. At least thats what it sounds like on paper. Will have to see if it doesn't break a few things along the way.

press Y to masturbate and try to hit the mark for the animation do it 3 times and u get urself an ally who fights for you
In one of the quests (I think it was one of Isabelle's), I received the Aluring Staff. It's a magic wand that forces a mob to have sex with you. It works on almost all mobs, except of animals. This item is also available in the cheat menu.
But you have to aim well for it to work.

And another thing: once you learn how to build, first install a door on the fisherman's hut. Then you'll be able to sleep peacefully at night without worrying about mobs.

Huh, interesting....

Saving building builds. Wonder how that will work in practice

Servant XP Tweak: hmmm I am not sure if this is a positive or a negative. I believe one of our Leveling Masters (Mr Bipto?) must report in
Crap - missed this "Fixed" Servants levelling up at silly levels
Goddamn it, the only thing that made servants useful was leveling up to silly levels...... (not only thing but still)

Why the Dev is focusing on this stuff and not more fundamental is a minor point of irritation with him.
<snip>
Note: formasual is probably better with this pet/servant stuff than I am. I normally use my pets as sperm donors and sex toys, then put them away wet, used, and unwashed.
With this update though, I have actually used and leveled up a servant (wereboar) and it is completely broken.

"Tweaked servant xp gain to not be linear "

Short version: Servants were broken, shit was fixed. Suck it up and grind harder.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Without actually seeing the update in action, all I can do is make educated guesses based on the wording used. It really should be considered a positive, but only in context of correcting a faulty leveling system that let servants level up stupidly fast without any effort.

Basically, your servants should require more and more experience for each level, just like the MC does, at a more exponential rate instead of a steady predictable linear rate. If going from level 9 to level 10 required 9000 XP, then on a linear scale they would only need something like 10000 XP to go from 10 to 11, instead of needing something like 12,000 to go to level 11 and 14,500 to go to level 12 and so on and so forth.

Personally, I get the feeling that each level for a servant had gotten fat fingered to be something like 100 XP per level, no matter if they were level 1 or level 100. The latest patch probably fixed it so that they actually need "level * 100 XP" or something akin to that, instead of some fixed value or a silly low level such as "level + 100 XP".

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fixing things that are broken or unintended NOW, is better than letting an issue linger and compound into other problems at a later date.
It sucks for us in a 'no new stuff' kind of way but it means 'less buggy crap later', which is never a bad thing especially if you have people such as the person you are having a separate conversation with about whether the game is completely broken or just a few 'glitchy things' happening.

can you provide the actual file path? I am not able to locate a "canvas" folder.

paste any picture file in the "canvas" folder in your save directory. When you build the picture frame you can then select it and it will open a menu for you to choose the picture files you pasted in the canvas folder. It also gives you the option to choose between 3 aspect ratios. Seems to work with anything I've tried so far.

EDIT: I should add that the accepted formats for picture files are .jpg .png and .gif. These work similarly to the presets so name them so you'll know what is what. If you didn't catch that, i said GIF. You can actually load a gif file and watch some looped porn on your wall while its raining outside at your base.

Anyone know where you can get dark iron ore now? The mines got replaced with normal iron ore and the only place Ive found some is in chests inside dungeons which I dont even know if they respawn.

Just discovered this game. Is there a cheat sheet or quick start guide, anywhere? I'm still trying to figure out how to repair a damaged tool...

You might just want to craft the Repair Kit in the Workbench, but first you need some Copper Ore so spam mining until you feel like it enough. In order to create Bronze Ingots, you need to craft a Furnace as well. The recipe is 2 Copper Ore and 1 Tin Ore, so keep your eyes on those ores (Copper Ore found in the woods, Tin Ore usually appear the same place as Coal, look for a big chunk of stone, you will see it scattered around). After you have a Repair Kit, drag it to your damaged tools and it's good to go! If you still use stone tools, then just throw them away and make a new one, it's not worth repairing.

So what are you supposed to do with the four pieces of Parchment you get from killing the hostile wizard guy?
They are riddles and each parchment describes a location where you can find a chest with a single piece of armor. The parchments are for finding the various pieces of Legendary armor (heavy armor).

There is a second portal, with another boss, that drops another set of 4 tablets, that are the exact same idea as the parchments. They give this vague location for various pieces of the Consort armor (light armor).

NOTE: When you are very close to the location of one of the chests containing a Legendary or Consort armor piece, there will be this red wire frame 'globe' that will appear. That is the indication that you are very close to one of those pieces and it is located inside the area of that red wire frame area.

so so so many bugs in this one...can't even progress through the tutorial because some spawns at night killed him... that's righ, an essential NPC killed by random spawns at night... and this essential NPC does not respawn and the game does not recognise it and still forces me to do the same quest. What's worse, I get the idea behind foraging etc, its cute, but the grind is just horrible. The idea of playing a game is so you don't enact 1:1 the time spent mining or chopping wood. It gets worse - there are some things like trees that you seem to be able to damage with a whole random assortment of things, like spears and bare hands. There's a 'damage' count thats shown with every hit...BUT...there's a hidden code that says trees are only really damaged by axes... that's just stupid and things like that waste SO much time it literally makes this game unplayable

Not sure if its on purpose or not, but even tho the weapons have mining/woodcutting stats they don't do any damage unless you first dealt at least some damage with the corresponding tool. Meaning, if you use a pickaxe once on some mineral deposit you can then switch to a weapon and pretty much mine the rest with a single heavy attack or even unarmed. Not sure if it works for wood tho never thought to try it. Found out by accident long ago, but I don't think its intentional even tho its been in the game for many builds now at least. Even monster attacks will greatly mine the deposit after its been hit with a tool at least once.

NPCs do respawn when they die. You just have to give it time. Aside from that, what bugs are you talking about? This build is one of the best I've played hands down. Have you forgotten this is still in development? We still don't know that the end product will look like. Maybe the dev doesn't either, who knows...

This is not Skyrim and there is no main story with main quests. There are some quests, but they can be totally avoided. It would not be a good idea to do that tho as some of them have really nice rewards that you will want to use. Yea its a grind, but thats the kind of game it is intended to be. Survival and exploration with a splash of porn is basically what this game is. Certainly not for everyone, but I can't imagine why people get so bent out of shape if they simply don't like it. Don't play it if you don't like it. Why get upset about it? Just move on to something else. You're not the first and surely won't be the last. Its like some people expect a basically single dev to create the perfect game for them and when it doesn't happen they lose their minds.

Does anyone know where these two items can be found? I have found the other six and they weren't that difficult to find (eventually), but these two have me stumped.

For the Relentless March, my assumption was that the scorched tower was one of the Drake towers in the desert, but I cannot seem to find any chests around those towers. I have also cruised around the island looking for any 'scorched/burnt' towers just chilling on the island, but I cannot really see anything.
For the Enduring Flame, I am assuming it is related to the Demon Statues and I have checked around all the ones near the water and the two in the center of the map, where the big blotch of dark brown stones are (assuming that the black waves were referencing the coal deposits there). It mentions a forgotten idol, but I don't recall seeing any random statues/idols around the island.

check the northwest part of the Grandwood ruins
Hmm. I've entered the volcanic chamber, but... there's no one there! The throne is empty.

Upd: Ah, that's it. I get it. It must be a bug. Before moving forward, I sat down and rested. That must be what caused this strange bug.
