You could try deleting the folder %LocalAppData%\WickedIsland\Saved\SaveGamesI have the same problem... anybody knows how to resolve?
I have a 64 bit system and running windows 11.If you running a 32Bit system you have to install a 64Bit OS like Windows10/11 64Bit
Well, I will give it a shot at writing some instructions for you:Can someone just post it without it having two parts or put a setp by step guide on how to extract it, since I have tried extracting in same folder/unraring them, but only makes two zip files and wont let me unzip them due not being complete or whatever
U'r losing your time...Well, I will give it a shot at writing some instructions for you:
First, I am assuming that you have downloaded both files AND that both files are in the same folder. If they are not, move them to the same folder.
Next, go to this site and download their software:You must be registered to see the linksIf you are using Windows, select the very first download option (Windows 64-bit) and install that software.
Once you have installed 7-Zip, you need to RENAME THE FIRST FILE.
When you download part 1 it should look like this: wicked-island-windows-beta.zip_v0.7.part1.rar
You need to rename part 1 so that it looks like this: wicked-island-windows-beta_v0.7.zip.part1.rar
When you have renamed the part 1 file, the two files in that folder should look like this:
wicked-island-windows-beta_v0.7.zip.part1.rar
wicked-island-windows-beta_v0.7.zip.part2.rar
Now, open 7-zip and click on the down arrow on the address bar and select the drive letter where you saved those two files. You can double click on the folders in the lower pane until you get to the folder that contains those 2 files.

Click on the first file (PART1) to highlight it and click the Extract button. In the window that pops up, just accept the default options and click OK.
After it extracts the file you should be done. Close 7-Zip, go into the folder where those two folders are and there should now be a single ZIP file that you can extract to whatever location you want that has all of the game files. It is possible that there is a new folder instead of the zip file, in which case, you just need to open that new folder and the ZIP file should be there.
Hope that helps. I can't give exact detailed, click by click actions you have to take, but 7-Zip is pretty easy to use and the default settings for the program should be fine for anything it asks you.
Tanks a lot !! It work for me !You could try deleting the folder %LocalAppData%\WickedIsland\Saved\SaveGames
Not sure whats causing this but it could be that it reads old save data when loading the game instead of the new data from char creation. Thought i had it fixed but seems to pop up from time to time.

my sex defeat doesn't work though...I just die without any reward. Yes , I did toggle it on .>Adult
>open world
>survival
>sex defeat system
If there will be no solid corruption/mind break mechanic - very soon this game turns into a senseless animation mess
Which actually first will hurt the development itself and only then - consumers
But none of the problems where there after loading a save?RawDarkness
Hi, maybe found a bug.
Just went into the dungeon, and after being "rectified" by a couple of monsters, I managed to escape, but once out, everithing was lost, including runestone waypoints, structures and loot, like I started from scratch except from my equipment.
And at the village all the crates and crafting structures were empty except dicks and armory which were reset.
Luckly I save before every new exploration...
Just to let you know
It's me again , with no good news sorry, but this one is heavy and somewhat related...But none of the problems where there after loading a save?
Im still struggling with things not loading properly after switching levels but should be the same mechanic as loading a save.
Thanks for reporting!
Are your GPU drivers up to date?I've got some graphics glitch. In main menu everything is OK, but in the game - this. Anybody knows how to fix this? View attachment 2195013
