Your points are valid yes but at the same time, it's important to understand that we can't hold Adeptus to the standards of an AAA studio either. The project he's making for us is ambitious as hell and it requires a shit ton of work so I understand that we can't expect fast massive updates.Most NSFW games don't have that big of a monthly budget either, so the comparison isn't entirely fair.
I'm not saying you're wrong to expect more though, I guess I'm just looking at all the other games that were abandoned and just happy this one is still alive and progressing.
No. I actually hope they just cut the story stuff completely and focus 100% on making this the best adult sandbox out there.
In terms of story there are already dozens of great games, with way better worlds to do storytelling. But we don't have anything near Wild Life when it comes to creating your own custom porn scenes (with ease). They could be faster by dimensions if they focused only on the sandbox.
Sooo, long story short you just want a sandbox to make your own custom scenes without contributing (as far as I can guess) any money to the project?
Adeptus Steve said multiple times a story-driven open world was always the end goal of Wild Life from the start. The sandbox was always a means of attracting enough patrons to get the resources needed for their vision, and to build a company would be capable of shipping a project of that scope from the ground up. I dunno if they'd even have a sandbox mode had CVN been where it is now back in '17.
They've also told us they're wanting to avoid the porn game narrative traps Carnal Instinct, Subverse and co. fell into and have given a lot of insight on the lore and story they're putting in. The quest lines were implemented in the more recent builds for a reason - they're trying to get the best feedback possible to avoid a subpar product, and this includes writing and character development.
Many of you are brushing this off as "It's porn" and "there's better story-driven games" and "Nobody plays skyrim for the plot", but why should we let the devs just undercook a vital part of the game - you know, the core design goal Adeptus wanted to achieve since the start? This game is already fantastically made and has excellent porn, but the story has ONE shot of standing the test of time and not becoming the subject of some future negative retrospective.
EDIT: If Adeptus could share their thoughts on this, I'd appreciate seeing their perspectives^^

Far from getting easy and fast decent results. First you need to download tons of external ressources to get a decent library, then a lot of stuff isn't compatible with another due to proportions.

Is this a joke? That game is d i m e n s i o n s behind. This is merely a prototype with worse animations and almost no content.
And how is a game with a single place (bedroom) and just one girl at all any contest for Wildlife with a full character creator, map editor and hundreds of sex poses?

Nope, like I said what it offers over VAM is that everything works seamlessly together. In Wildlife you can just create your own characters and they will automatically work with all the poses avaiable. You can instantly build your own map and assets with all the stuff given.Fuchsschweif
I even don't want to compare WL vs VAM - because it's like compare stick vs dick.
WL has only one thing to oppose - gameplay story.
In VAM you have to download stuff other people have created, and one scene will not work with another model because the proportions are off. So it's a lot of headache, searching up resources and pain in the ass when creating.
VAM isn't even comparable to Wild Life.
it has a bit of a story line with multiple quest but they are very rough and buggy and they won't take you long to finish.
