Story mode still very insufficient. That is why "Bests in the Sun" much more better than this game. They continuously make new animation and new sex poses etc. For faking what? It doesn't give joy anymore. I was a supporter at the beginning but I'm not for a year. There is need a good story and mini games and of course gameplay! Come on Steve make it better and make it like a game now!

Most likely an error related to the UE5 version's use of DX12 running on a slightly older gpu, or something with the Global Illumination setting.

For the first, the most common fix is by right clicking the exe for the game and creating a shortcut, then going into the properties of the shortcut and in the textbox for Target you add -dx11 to the end, then run the game from that shortcut.

For the Global lllumination setting, that's as easy as going to the video settings in-game and finding that one, then changing it from Lumen to Screen Space. Something with the way ray tracing, called Lumen in Unreal Engine, works tends to cause problems leading to the crash you had.

Wow graphics are amazing! My rtx3080 never see such a great graphics like that before! DAMN!
Fuk you steve and fuk your game!
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic for a joke, or if you're being an asshole. Those are placeholders, they are not meant to be a show of the graphics, they are there to give the level design people an idea of what it is supposed to be when they return to finish the map.

The story mode is currently being worked on, so of course it won't have much to it. The sandbox was worked on first, but now that it is pretty much done the rest is actively being worked on. Demanding that Steve, who is only one in a team, just suddenly make the game "better" (which is subjective) and to do it now is not going to really do anything. The dev team already knows more is needed in the story mode and mini games, too many people have already come to this 1130 pages long thread to complain about that and the lack of gameplay, so I think the devs know.

If you want a quick fix of porn, use the sandbox mode and spawn in some characters, or set up a scene yourself, and wait until the story has a little more work put into it.

"Beast in the Sun" developing by just one person and features commendable gameplay, an average storyline (which, in my opinion, is quite noteworthy for an adult game), diverse exploration across various locations, and a wide array of animations, including very good physics. Having followed the Adeptus Steve team and their work on this project for over six years, I've witnessed their impressive office space and tools.

However, I'm perplexed by the fact that the latest version of the game is replete with rudimentary placeholders and dialogs, lacks a coherent storyline or voice acting, and suffers from a dearth of engaging gameplay. The walking and combat mechanics still fall short compared to the quality of the sex animations. Consequently, I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction, and I encourage other supporters to do the same.

It seems that the focus has been primarily on creating new characters, most of which the same map with only different textures. They lack personality, voice variations, or meaningful dialogs, rather than enhancing the overall gaming experience. The emphasis on creating more animations raises questions: is this a game or merely a collection of 3D animations?

I could express my frustration with more asshole way, but rest assured, it can't get any worse or more disgraceful than their inability to develop any game in more than six years.

I dont really care about this argument, but I heard someone bragging about "Beast in the Sun", it literally has Sims 3 graphics and despite having a complete "level or design" it still has less than 2% of Wild Lifes sexual content.
So, I don't understand the comparison, but if someone is unsatisfied with the production of this game, then why even partake in the thread?

My textures aren’t loading for characters and the environment in the UE5 one tho. I have good specs for pc. got a 4060 ti. Is there a fix for this?
Their dev team can't figure out how to fix blurry texture problem. If they made their game open source, we could figure out how to fix it in one weekend, and adeptus steve gets to keep all the money.

Now I see where you're so confused on why it's taking Wild Life longer to make compared to Beasts in the Sun. BitS uses pre-made assets, it's essentially an asset flip. WL on the other hand is making most of its stuff from scratch with as few pre-made assets as possible. Hell, BitS even uses a font very similar to Elder Scrolls Online in one of the screenshots for mounting a horse.

Asset flips don't take as long to make since they cut out all the modeling and rigging of character models from development, and to make maps it's just like putting Lego pieces together, and there's even tools now that can just generate levels for you, not to mention it's very possible to just find a full pre-made world asset and edit stuff in it like textures to make it "yours".

Also, BitS was not just one person working on it, it's three people working as a team on it. As another also, it seems to be focused on a story only, which of course is going to mean it has more story to it already. WL has a whole sandbox mode in it where you can make your own scenes and worlds to screw around in, and that was the main focus for a while, and at the start actually did have only one person working on it, Steve, which over time grew into a team that are now working towards making WL a high quality game that will be the whole game on release instead of an episodic release like BitS is doing.

Right now, yes, WL is a collection of 3D animations, but it's not just a fucking gallery like you're trying to make it seem. And creating more animations is a bad thing when it's a dedicated group on the team who's job it is to make the animations? Character personalities, yeah I'll give you that one, they could use a little work, but that would require extra time to work on which seems to be against you wanting the "better" game "now".

If you're sooo fucking dissatisfied, then go goon to BitS, which you seem to find oh so much better and you yourself seem to be shilling for like the disgrace that you are.

Gallery and sandbox mode aren't bad things to have but that's all the game is right now and it's not what they were saying it was going to be 6+ years ago. You can go back through old development posts from 2017-2018 talking about ideas for story, world, and gameplay but it's 2024 and all of those things either don't exist or only exist in rough minimal ways.

I'm not going to downplay the good work they've done on things like character models, animation quality, and scripting because they blow the fuck out of any of their competitors but it seems like those things came at the expense of the "game" part.

Like I said before in other posts, it's now in active development, meaning the game part is right now being worked on. I covered this point already.

I would turn this game into a sort of "life simulator" focused on the sexual part at this point, I don't really know if people care enough about a story or doing quests anymore, maybe adding romances, pregnancy, marriage etc would be a good idea.

As far as I knew it was always in active development and they were always working on the game part, otherwise I don't know what all those old test builds and development blog posts were for. Or those big fat stacks of cash they've been raking in for years.

Right now, yes, WL is a collection of 3D animations, but it's not just a fucking gallery like you're trying to make it seem.
What does this even mean? In one sentence you admit it is a collection of 3d animations but in the next sentence you say it is not just a "fucking gallery". Why are you contradicting yourself this much? What else is there? It literally is just a "fucking gallery". Did you even "play" the "game" before writing this? There is NOTHING else to do.

Like I said before in other posts, it's now in active development, meaning the game part is right now being worked on. I covered this point already.
Oh so those parts are ONLY now in active development? Meaning, they were not in active development before at any time for 7+ years, even though they were advertised/promised foreever ago? Why are shills like this?
