Play Valley of the Ancient as a Unreal 5 TechDemo and write that again
If your System is overall bellow a current Next Gen Console Configuration you should move fast as well.
Performance is not overall Wild Lifes problem "Stability" on the current API and System target is.
But the Solution path for those problems will require even much better hardware for Unreal 5
Sooner or later it gets annoying reading all the time "it needs optimization" from users who have no idea how things get constructed in a Render result which works in a complex Simulation and crying about a given Results Performance without understanding it's overall complexity in the whole Simulation that takes place per frame and how each thing affects each other in your system resource distribution and the problems you are faced with in balancing this all to make everyone happy in some way.
Though make no mistake even some of the so called reviewers will never see a great result if it is biting their ass infront of them much easier to see bugs

Some things you see in Wild Life and Unreal now in General are a evolution step of what you see here
But Wild-Life by far didn't reached this World Simulation complexity Level yet but overall the bigger problem is the stability of the streaming and how much overall resources you push on that side and you will see Unreal 5 pushing a lot of System resources into that General Console direction.
And the fewer work the Creation side needs the more you gonna invest on your System, what console players wont have to care about
But you should be also aware Screenshots only tell you 1 part of the whole truth

I tried to gave you a hint if you can play Mafia 3 @ 4K 60 FPS at Medium you will be fine for Wild Life if not you need a new Machine fast.
Also for the entire upcoming Next Gen Console Game future.
If you can play it's cutscenes at 60 fps you are ready for the future of good optimized Next Gen Adult Games, and you lowest overall FPS with Wild Life will be 30 for now outside of cutscenes, cutscenes will in general run much better in Unreal, then the hardest Wild Life wide FOV complexity Scenes.
Anything that will run more complex Fluid Simulations you gonna go with 30 FPS and be very very happy about it especialy if at the same time Cloth,Rigid Body and Hair Physics solvers are running concurrently in the Scene and interacting with each other
I really like their Photogram Character Pipeline results, they did a lot of resolution and TAA Performance compromises but integrated them really nicely into the Art you wont see such overall compromises in Wild Life yet on the resolution quality side.
The SSSS results blend nicely into the resolution lacking

Plays quite alright on my 2017 PC. However there's a huge FPS difference between the "story mode" (demo) and sandbox.
I get anywhere between 40 and 80 FPS in the village on story mode but sandbox cuts that in half. In exactly the same spots too with pretty much the same NPCs present.
Could be because the rest of the island gets loaded but with Occlusion Culling enabled (and UE4 does that by default I believe) that shouldn't be a problem.
Story mode plays surprisingly well for a game in this genre. Movement is a little floaty but I like the terrain traversal and climbing. Tested a lot of spots and didn't get seriously stuck anywhere, pretty nice. Combat is okayish. You get intruduced to pretty clear telegraphs from the enemies early on but then suddenly there is a rhino dude that also telegraphs but additionally has an instant attack with no windup that still takes half your HP.
The (main?) quest is a little open ended and I personally would have other ideas than fucking 6 random chicks after my ship just crash landed on an alien planet but it was still fun. Couldn't finish that much in the short time I had but it looks like there is very little hand holding, which is basically a good thing but not necessarily in the context of a demo.
I got 4 ribbons but I left unsure where the additional 2 ribbons are supposed to come from since there are only so many women available and 2 of them aren't interested in dick.
The only spike I noticed is the initial loading in, that gets pretty hitchy. But it's over in 20 seconds or so.
Might be a factor that I installed this on my M.2 SSD which I usually only do for non-porn games. But this one is a different beast and obviously needs it.
try to fly around in Sandbox in Fisher Village with Maya some spikes will be very flat depending on the load situation look especially out for the Warpstone announcement while you moving/flying around.
But yeah M.2 SSD is advisable for now and pretty much in the future.
