I'm running into an issue where the buttons on the menu are offset upwards of where the actual graphic is - any fixes?

I've got the same issue. No idea on a fix

Can somone teach me the basics of this game, im confused on what im supposed to do and how to change characters.

Check the input section of the settings if you haven't already. You change characters by talking to them and then choosing the possess option.

Usually this error is because you are missing game files, or game files have moved into folders they don't belong in. I would try to re-extract the game into a short filepath (like a folder in desktop), and see if you can launch then.

maybe I've missed it, but how can I download an older version? the latest one seems to not allow me to launch the game, there's an error. they say it is a known issue but it's been weeks so I might as well get an older version.

I'm simply just having a hard time clicking on anything in-game at all or can't click anything at all. I try to go to the click button on the main screen and then I have to be at least 1 or 2 above it for it to light up like I'm actually hovering over it when I'm not and I can't control any of the scenes in-game either or even try to stop them once activate, because once again I can't click anything anyone know how to fix this or is the game just bugged ? Or is it just VR only ?

Get the right build. The $10 builds or above have those. If you have one of those deactivate censorship in the options.
