Does anyone have any tips for making the VR mode usable?

Alt-0 switches to VR and it actually looks pretty great, but there are a few major issues:

1) Can't use mouse to click on any UI elements in customise / sex menu
2) Can't hide the customise / sex menu so it always fills a huge part of your vision
3) It takes ages to switch back to non-VR mode

There's no hotkey to hide the UI, right?

I would give anything for an option to have the animations set by the customise menu (where you can choose dances etc.) to persist after closing the menu.

1 and 2 :
set all custom before, reduce the UI with the cross below and after "alt+0". in vr mode mouse click is just for the cam
for me I set all the command on my mouse (next scene, anal/vag, alt pose, etc...)

Decided to try this game and i have to say , very dissapointing.
The little rpg at the beggining was fun but after you finish that there is literally nothing to do.
Go to show room, spawn some chars, make the fuck the end.

Welcome to Wild Life 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021

I really hope the Kickstarter actually kickstarts more progress.

Pity the succubus outfit doesn't have functional wings. Then any girl could fly with them on.

Glad to see their kickstarter doing really poorly atm. they're already making 1.4mil a year, the kickstarter is a scam to get more money out of people
$25,200 with 365 backers on the first two days of the kickstarter doesn't really strike me as doing poorly. Slowly, sure, but we have to wait a month to see results.

The goal is what worries me. $250,000 for an adult game with furries, something that's definitely not for everyone? On Kickstarter where it's all or nothing? You got to admit, that's pretty risky.

true, I'm just going off from what I've mostly seen, a project either gets fully funded off the start or maybe is 60% funded, give or take, and gets the last 40% within the last couple days. This opening with 10% funded is usually a good sign that it's going to fail.

I can definitely tell that lots of commenters here have never been part of a games' technical alpha before.
For the development state it's in, this runs fine.

I'm a bit bewildered that they chose to go back to Kickstarter to raise more money for this. I would assume that everyone that's interested in this form of half-assed furry porn has already noticed this and joined on Patreon. This is a pretty niche genre after all and I'm not sure how many more people with disposable income they expect to be interested in this. Besides that, making that shiny trailer alone must have cost a pretty penny.

The kickstarter goal just seems like such an insignificant amount of money compared to what they're already making. What could a one time payment of 250k do that 100k per month can't? It's not like it will allow them to expand their team and speed up development. Those 250k will run out pretty quickly, considering how long they've been at it already.
The reason to pledge to them now is still the same reason you'd pledge to them four years ago, because the game is still just a glorified scene viewer.

They might have hoped for a "fully funded in 10 minutes" scenario with the amount crossing into million dollar heights, as it has happened before on Kickstarter. The current result should get their heads back out of the clouds though.

Its probably as much about publicity as anything. As furry artists know, there tend to be a lot of furries with money to spend, but adult furry games seem even more niche than adult games as a whole. If getting on a big platform like Kickstarter gets them some publicity beyond the adult games community, that's a bonus.

ED Although with the amount they are getting on Patreon, they are obviously already known outside it, but if Kickstarter fails, at least some of the really engaged backers who werent already backing on Patreon will move over to Patreon, so either way its a win.

In term of communication it could be a terrible hit or miss too (and more like a miss probably)

The main goal of their kickstarter seems clearly to advertise their game and not to rise more money.

Or at least that's what they are saying, judging by their Patreon post : "it's important to note that the project Wild Life doesn't stand or fall with Kickstarter, we will always push forward and do the best we can with the means available to us. But it can be a huge step for us and the adult game genre in general"

To be honest, I have no idea if creating a kickstarter is a good way to advertise a product.

I'm thinking of Subverse that worked pretty well that way, however I would say that at the time Studio Fow was already way more popular than Candy Valley Network and popularity is a snowball effect.

I would also say that their kickstarter page is really bland. I have no doubt that people are supporting Wild Life because of the porn.

I'm not saying that Wild Life as a game is bad, but just that if people only wanted to play an open-world RPG, they would probably go for something else since Wildlife would be a little fish in a big pond in the gaming industry.

Porn is a main component of the game.

And I feel that their kickstarter page doesn't show that well. (Maybe it's about kickstarter policy).
