I'm not sure if the final game will have Max as protagonist but that's seems the case, unless they give us the chance of playing Maya. In any case you can be anyone in sandbox, female or male, human or karpali. I'm not a particular fan of Max myself by the way. In the sandbox I chose the Cannibal :sneaky:

There are two playable characters: Maya and Max. You will swap back in forth between them in the campaign.

Sandbox animations were extremely low priority this cycle because there was only one animator working. Regardless, they're going to be lower priority anyway because you aren't going to see them in the campaign.

The holiday affected the content of this release.

Also, at no point in the game will you ever be forced to engage in sexual acts. If the character is a weird, perverted freak, that's because you're playing the character as a weird, perverted freak.

Yeah the 2 month update cycle is kinda silly if there's so little content. They do release another smaller update one or two weeks after the "big" update so maybe there's at least some stuff there but it's rather disappointing, especially when most of the animations are focused on Max and Maya. Don't get me wrong - I'm sure there's a demand for that as well but in my book Wild Life is nice because of the more exotic content like, you know, the anthros. There's plenty of goold old vanilla stuff to be found elsewhere.

I do get that they're currently working more on the actual game but I also have little interest in that.

I don't mind playing for a normal one, but the editor's menu is not available, I can't even change his stupid hairstyle for him, let alone put his body in order.

where the heck is feral Rhoc!!! spent hours just wandering the woods, 80% of this game is just walking around aimlessly!!

there is weird circle things on the ground because they haven't made footsteps a thing yet. Follow the circles from where you spoke to him

My favorite part was running around aimlessly trying to speak to the "talking animals" and eventually pressing I and crashing the game. I've been playing various updates on this game since 2022 and man the progress is painfully slow. Theres no way this game will be playable until 2026 and even then something better might be out.
