TLDR: Anthros x human is now considered beastiality by Patreon. Same for bipedal anthros x non-bipedal, but not non-bipedal x non-bipedal(how the fuck does that make sense? god I hate this platform sometimes). Several creators received similar messages today/yesterday and others are taking preemptive action(some I pledge to moved their x human content to discord and are considering going to subscribestar)
Hmm. That's a confusing statement. First Andy here states that they consider bestiality to be sexual depiction of human or humanoid with an animal. Then they say that they consider depictions of bipedal furries as humanoid creatures. So immediately I thought that human x bipedal furry would be fine by that logic, right? It's humanoid on humanoid after all. But then comes the bit where they consider depictions of humans with bipedal furries bestiality as well.
Maybe I'm not reading the message correctly, which is totally possible since it's getting pretty late here, but I think that message contradicts itself. Before I'm going to draw any conclusions I want a more official statement that's not what looks to be a PM. And I guess the Wild Life team themselves will make a post about it if it's become an issue for them. And if it has, there's probably an alternative to Patreon they can use, right. I don't see this project being scrapped at any rate.
Also, I find it strange that animal on animal porn is completely within their guidelines.
Out of curiosity, where did you get that message screenshot from? I assume a creator that received that message?

You could just by-pass the rules by acting like drug dealers making a deal in public: Vaguely cover up what you mean. XD I mean, if you remove the sexual images and change a few words, "Furry fuckfest generator" can become "3D simulator with adult themes and alien creatures". Cos, as they're not human, they do classify as an alien creature. And it is a simulator with adult themes.
Patreon, much like every other smart arse site on the Earth that cracks down on certain things but fails to do it with others (like how Tumblr attacked porn and not the racist, homophobic, sexist and nazi stuff on their site), can be lied to and worked around just by covering up the truth with a tarp of confusing bullshittery. ^^ It's not like they're gonna play every single porn game on Patreon... Cos that's a good few thousand at least.
My clear hate of dumb rules obvious? Cos, come the fuck on people, it's an 18 rated game. What do they think will happen? You play a game and become a cousin fucker? By that logic, England's government has played incest games for years! XD (Context: Cousin fucking is legal here. Hence the joke).

If Patreon wants to throw money out the window because of moral panic, that's on them I guess. There are plenty of crowdfunding websites that don't have bizarre, arbitrary rules.
So far this is an isolated case tho. I only know of that one project being affected. Do you have credible sources for other creators recieving similar messages?

Sources I can prove? No. Not without digging through a bunch of website blog posts which would take forever... But I know a few artists such as Tsuyagami (who does Penguins Of Madagascar art, her fave being incest between two of the lemurs) and a few other porn games (I think they were New Life, the gender swap text adventure, Legend Of The Twin Orbs by DirtyCoC... I forget the rest, it's been a while) where slapped with a similar issue a few years ago.
This whole porn ban (I say ban, but it's more of a "could you please not?" kinda deal. They just get really pissy about it) on Patreon has been a thing for a few years now, I think maybe three? I dunno, my perception of time is screwy... It's just poorly enforced so doesn't appear often unless it wants to ruin a good thing.

no he's actually gotten in trouble for that. He can't post it on Patreon anymore, and doesn't even post it on his discord because they can check that too. This isn't a case of double standards, they're going after everyone
